Fabulous location. Peaceful.

The location was absolutely superb. The staff were helpful and friendly and didn't mind ferrying us between the dock and the boat whenever we requested a transfer. The price was fair. I loved that we were supplied with a bag of wood and firelighters each day. Even though the lagoon water was cold, it was warm enough to swim, and we had a lovely day swimming and sunbathing at the lagoon beach.

The house-boat feels slightly tired and needs a bit of TLC, for example some cupboard doors were loose or skew and the shower was in poor condition. All the walls and doors in the houseboat could do with a thorough cleaning - having said that; the linen and bedding was spotless and comfortable.

The location is fabulous, the boat is rustic but comfortable with everything you need for a good relax and water based holiday

I suggest sea sick tablets if it’s windy as there is a lot more movement than expected

Overpriced

The location is stunning of course, and that's where the novelty ends

The service was horrible, the rooms where very dirty and the toilets stunk up the whole place, there was no soap and no coffee on board?, I know it's self catering but that's ridiculous? So you only find out about this when you're already on board... then you're stuck there! It's overpriced and it under delivered.

Great location, needs some TLC.

The location is amazing and the views from every room are fabulous.

We had a concern regarding the heating system. The booking platform information indicated an indoor fireplace, leading us to procure wood and firelighters. Upon arrival, we discovered the fireplace was unavailable, it had been replaced with a gas heater, requiring the purchase of a full LPG bottle, We left with a significant portion of the gas unused. We were not allowed to take the gas bottle home with us. The exterior windows were very dirty. Upon asking the windows were cleaned promptly, though.

Great views and location, but the place needs TLC.

Location was amazing and the staff were great.

It's not well maintained. You have rusted nails on the chairs on the balcony. You have one plate on the stove that works. We ran out of gas for stove after one day arrived. The igniter for the stove does not work. And the lighter left is empty. Prices offered are not the same as advertised on various places.

Beautiful setting and fabulous experience!

Can’t beat the setting! Had a fabulous stay on the boat. The boat we stayed on isn’t fancy, but the scenery more than makes up for it! Would recommend at least 2 nights stay so you can fully enjoy the surroundings. Definitely recommend

Fantastic experience living on the ocean! The night sky was our TV!

Upon arrival there was no sign board to confirm we were in the right place, nobody to welcome us, we had to fumble about and eventually call the number on the booking to tell them we were there. From the car park to the jetty was a construction zone with dangerous embankment to navigate down with our luggage. Once onboard we were comfortable and enjoyed our time. Small things could have been better like having hand soap in bathroom, shower soap, tissues. The cooking items were far from cleaned properly but it seemed to work out. This is a house boat after all and brings with it complexities which to be fair are managed very well. The bedroom with the floor mattresses is really not practical, you literally have to stand on the bed to do anything in the room which is not the end of the world but some folks prefer to keep beds clean where feet and shoes stay on the floor. They’d be better off making it a single bed or a bunk bed like the other room. If you’re claustrophobia the bunk bed room is not for you. Overall as a house boat experience we had a great time, ocean and water activities were perfect and we’re excited about coming again!

Excellent location and friendly staff!!We had a great time out on the houseboat. The beach is clean and safe for the kids. Such a great place to get away and relax. My kids thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, fishing and swimming. We even saw a few animals roaming around in the Park.

Poor hygiene standards, was not up to scratch. Overpriced for what you receive. Uncomfortable to sleep. Toilets and bathrooms were horrifying. Will not recommend or be back.
