It is a lovely building with a nice swimming pool- the staff were very nice too

The closeness to the road and roundabout - a bit noisy. Plus our room only had a very small window- it’s an old mill…

Staff and owner were super nice and kind. Offered great advice on where to go. Food at the restaurant was fantastic.

The location is excellent. The general building is stunning and the outside spaces are spectacular. The room itself is excellent and well thought out. The food is also excellent.

A lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room is a fairly cheap and easy fix to make a big improvement. A second comfy chair would also have been good.

We booked a Junior Suite but were disappointed to find that our room did not have a mini fridge, despite the room description stating that one would be provided. We also had friends staying at the hotel whose rooms did have a mini fridge, making the omission even more confusing. We had also requested a cot in advance of our stay, but it had not been set up when we arrived. Travelling with a young child, this was an important request and it was frustrating that it had been overlooked. Overall, it felt as though the hotel's main focus was on the restaurant, while other aspects of the guest experience lacked the same level of attention and care. While there were positives to our stay, these issues detracted from what we expected from a Junior Suite and the overall standard of service.
