Only minor improvement would be a slightly later check out, say 11am.

pretty well everything. Lovely to be able to sit out in the garden and hear the birds.

the cottage was a bit cold. needed a bit more heat in the spring to keep the chill off. Didn't really warm up until the wood burner was going.

A cosy relaxing break in the country not far from the coast, perfect to wind down

Beautiful accommodation set in lovely surroundings. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Log burner ready to go, fresh flowers and a few local treats in the fridge. the extra touches go a long way 😊

' GREAT LOCATION FOR VISITING SOMERSET '

We enjoyed our recent 7 night stay at The Old Bakery at Town End Farm Cottages in the small village of Crowcombe, Taunton. It is a cosy cottage that has been thoughtfully converted and is clean, very well equipped and nicely furnished. It is located not far from the Quantock hills where we saw wild ponies with their newborn foals. Also worthy of a visit is Dunster castle, about 20-25 minutes drive away. ( This is a National Trust property, and there are a number of others in the area. )

Fantastic Cottages and Location!

Both cottages were very quaint with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Bruce and Jaqcui made us feel very welcome providing lots of information and suggestions of places to visit during our stay. They are very well placed to enjoy many different walks from right outside the front door! Highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage on the edge of Quantock Hills.

Great communication and welcoming from the hosts Bruce & Jacqui. The cottage was clean and beds super comfy. Scenery is great from the garden. I'd recommend this place and would stay again.

My stay in the Town End Farm Cottages was absolutely perfect. The house and surroundings were beautiful, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were kind, warm, and extremely helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. The house is beautifully situated with views of the hills and the setting sun. Thank you for a wonderful time in this amazing place!
