It is is close to old town, walking distance to cathedral. The host was accessible and very responsive, thanks Julien for your assistance to make our stay comfortable!

Opening the doors was a challenge sometimes but manageable. Close to train tracks but surprisingly quiet at night.

It's more spacious than a regular hotel, which is great. Nice little kitchen and bathroom and enough room for 2 adults and a big(ish) dog not to trip over each other. Would highly recommend the Indian restaurant nearby--that was the highlight of the stay.

The location next to the railway tracks didn't affect our sleep but the dog did not like the noise at all. If you want a nice afternoon nap or enjoy sleeping in, probably not the place for you :). We self-catered the first night, and that's when we realized that most of the stuff in the kitchen was actually pretty gross. The plates had this sort of fatty grime on them like you would find in an industrial kitchen that didn't pass its health inspection or something. I don't know how to describe it (white plates but when you flip them over there's this yellow-ish gunk around the "seams" on the bottom). The cutlery was also sticky so had to wash all that before we ate. We were both very itchy after the first night's sleep just because there seemed to be dust everywhere. We drove the 4 hours home rather than stay the 2nd night we'd paid for. It just felt like everything had been rinsed/swept rather than washed/mopped. Potential to be a great space with a bit more care/thorough cleaning put into it. Also, got a message before we arrived about how/how not to flush the toilet. Just fix the toilet instead.
