Superb !

This 33 room family run hotel is central in Marina di Campo, once you have parked in the Hotel free secure car park, you can walk to any Part of the town of Marina di Campo in around 10 minutes, most of which is pedestrianised and without steps or staircases. This hotel is a very very good bed and breakfast modern hotel with disabled access and a lift. It was a full board facility many years ago, it is surrounded by restaurants within a 2 to 10 minute walk depending on your preference. A fantastic Holiday location for young and old, next year we intend to return and invite our adult children and especially our grandchildren as we feel it it is such a great family environment in Marina di Campo. Young children gather and play in the well lit town Square in the evenings just 40 metres from front door of the hotel while parents sit chatting on the surrounding benches. In the daytime on the opposite side of the hotel a modern children's play park facilitates lots of children on swings, slides and a roundabout. This does not create any noise effecting the hotel environment. The beach is a three minute walk with hardly a step in sight suitable for all ages, with one very quiet road to cross to get onto the beach.

Comfortable and traditional central stay

The staff were so helpful and friendly. I booked the hotel for the half marathon and it couldn’t have been a better location for the event. Right in the centre, close to the beach, the supermarket, restaurants, the bus stop- perfect!

WiFi didn’t work in my bedroom but I wasn’t staying long enough for it to bother me

A nice stay with family touch on the main street of Marina

Good breakfast with fresh food, tomato and mozzarella balls. (Also lots of Italian sweet stuff) Decaf available. We were almost pushed to take some lunch with us from the breakfast - bags and boxes offered! Whole family involved and all very helpful and friendly. Great location near the beach on the main pedestrianized street. Very good beds and pillows..

Bathroom (second floor) a bit small and beyond its best time. Like many Italian hotels, practically no noise insulation.

Nice Hotel in the centre of the village

Well placed in the centre of Campo nell'Elba, this hotel is simple and a bit dated, but very clean and very friendly staff. Open all year round, I would certainly reccomend for a stay

Some pros and some cons

The location,. It's in the center and also super close to the beach. It also has a private parking. The idea of the breakfast is genius , they allow you to prepare your lunch box and they also provide the containers. The lady who was wondering the night shift was amazing, very helpful and give us lots of tips for where to go.

The waiter was the worst, never said good morning or hi. I use a wheelchair and one day flipped backwards to enter the hotel because there's a little step and he came, opened the door and left without asking if I was hurt nor helped to get back up. I couldn't charge the wheelchair in the bedroom because there weren't enough sockets, so I had to leave it downstairs at the reception. Thanks God I still walk, otherwise I had to choose between charging the chair or the phone. They sell you breakfast as abundant, I would say it's just about fine and if you dare to ask for more (for the cured meats) then you get told that you already had your portion. Lots of fruit though.

Poor cleaning, noise in the room (from other rooms + air co unit positioned on the ceiling of our room), no minibar/ refrigerator in the room, no place where to dry towels/ swimming suits, old/ outdated furniture. Heavily overpriced for what you get.

Very good location in the center and room in the back so was quiet at night. Breakfast very good selection with Fresh fruits and possibility to take away for lunch. Staff very kind.

Cappuccino is not up to the standard for italy, made from automatic machine. Room very clean but old fashioned. Lacks a fridge in the room.

Tolle Lage in der City, nettes Hotel

Tolle Lage, trotzdem ruhig in der Nacht ,bewachter Parkplatz neben Hotel, ein in das Alter gekommene Hotel , alles sauber, tolles sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Freundliches Personal , Dame des Hauses sehr freundlich. Die hochschwangere junge Dame des Hauses muss noch Freundlichkeit finden ( hoffe sie sucht diese auch )

Sorprendente, prima esperienza in due stelle.

La pulizia della camera, della biancheria e la colazione sorprendente: oltre ad essere completa, danno la possibilità di poter usufruire di tutto ciò che è a disposizione per prepararsi un pranzo al sacco. Per il confort non manca niente, condizionatore, doccia ben funzionante, fornello zanzare. Per non parlare della cortesia e disponibilità del personale tutto.

Niente, i vantaggi superano di gran lunga i difetti che si possono riscontrare, c'è tutto ciò che serve in abbondanza.

La struttura è a gestione familiare ed è in una posizione ottimale, così come Il rapporto qualità prezzo e la pulizia, camera molto bella con un terrazzo bellissimo....parcheggio privato compreso .....colazione al top.......meritano un particolare encomio i proprietari perché sono di una carineria e disponibilità inauditi........sempre sorridenti e pronti ad esaudire ogni richiesta......ci siamo sentiti come a casa..........grazie mille per tutto......alla prossima.....

Abbiamo soggiornato al Barcarola Hotel e non possiamo che esprimere la nostra piena soddisfazione! La posizione è semplicemente perfetta: nel centro di Marina di Campo e a pochi minuti dalla splendida spiaggia. La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, pulizia impeccabile e camere accoglienti, silenziose e dotate di ogni comfort. Il personale è estremamente gentile, disponibile e sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con professionalità e un sorriso. Ottima anche la colazione, ricca e varia, con prodotti freschi e locali serviti in un ambiente rilassante. Il parcheggio interno è un plus davvero comodo. Un’esperienza davvero piacevole, in una delle località più belle dell’Elba. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca relax, qualità e un’accoglienza calorosa. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Albergo situato in pieno centro, in una traversa della via principale di marina di campo. Struttura un po’ datata ma accogliente, dotata del necessario per soggiornarci. Staff cordiale e super disponibile per ogni nostra esigenza. Presente un parcheggio privato adiacente all’albergo. Consigliatissimo!

Non tornerei più in hotel col cane, meglio un piccolo studio....se ce ne fossero

La colazione era abbondante ma, nonostante fosse possibile farla fino alle 11, certi prodotti se non si arrivava presto finivano. Poi era possibile portarsi via una specie di packet lunch scegliendo fra quanto offerto.

Non ho trovato giusto pagare 10€ al giorno per un cagnolino di 5,5 kg, che non perde il pelo ed al quale non era nemmeno permesso entrare nella sala delle colazioni. Quei 110€ sarebbero stati una supermancia per l'addetta alle camere in caso di cane di taglia medio-grande che perde il pelo e che avrebbe quindi dato molto da fare. Per il mio cane sono stati veramente ingiustificati!

Piacevole weekend all'Isola d'Elba

Posizione centralissima a Marina di Campo, con la possibilita di raggiungere a piedi bar, ristoranti, supermercati e spiaggia. Molto comodo il parcheggio privato recintato. Personale accogliente e molto gentile. Formula azzeccata per la colazione con la possibilita di prepararsi un piccolo pranzo al sacco da portare in spiaggia.

La struttura e' datata e necessiterebbe di ammodernamenti, alle volte anche banali, come una presa di corrente per caricare il cellulare sul comodino (abbiamo docuto staccare l'abat-jour per caricare il cellulare sul comodino) o la biancheria che ormai risulta vissuta. Inoltre nella nostra camera il box doccia era da sostituire. Cose che, comunque, non hanno compromesso il nostro soggiorno in alcun modo.

Struttura non nuova, ma tenuta bene e pulita, personale molto gentile e disponibile, posizione eccellente in centro per la sera e 5 minuti, a piedi, dalla spiaggia. Parcheggio della struttura con cancello .

L'unica pecca è che non c'è possibilità di pranzo o cena e se vai con bambini è un po' scomodo !

Très bien placé et confortable pour découvrir l'ile d'Elbe

Toujours des personnes disponibles à l'accueil et au petit déjeuner, très agréable petit déjeuner, chambre de bon confort mais un peu cher (l'ile d'Elbe ...). Il y a un grand parking gratuit. Le lieu est très pratique pour profiter de l'Ile d'Elbe.
