Pakping Hostel

A really friendly, modern hostel. In a great location too. The lady on the front desk was amazing, she went above and beyond to help me with storing my luggage and giving me recommendations for onward travel. The breakfast offerings and filtered water were great and really useful.

I got bitten a lot by mosquitoes one night but I think this was because I was closest to the window.

Sometimes you run into your roommate who doesn’t respect public space but that’s something the owner has no control over

Lack of A/C in communal areas

I liked the living room area.

Having to take our shoes off right at the door and walking around the entire building barefoot wasn’t pleasant. Also the bathrooms are tiny and aren’t clean in my opinion. There’s an odor that follows them. This place is advertised as being really clean and it’s why I booked it, but it wasn’t clean. The sinks clogged up when you used them to brush and it was just not the vibe. I will not be booking here ever again.
