Cefalù Caldura house

The view is great, like a 5* hotel. Quiet location and the feeling of staying at your own vacation house

The bathroom is very very very small. I am 173cm and i barely have place to enter the shower. Also my knees were almost touching the wall while staying on the closet. You have the kitchen but a coffee machine is what was missing cause you do not have from where to buy a coffee very close.

The uninterrupted seaviews to wake up to cannot be beaten Having your own private “beach” is luxurious albeit rocky but the water is crystal clear and so inviting. Giacinto is a great host. Kind and friendly and went the extra mile when things didn’t go to plan

It was quite a way out of the main township of Cefalu - a hot 25min walk into the old town. A coffee machine would help a lot as there are no cafes close by

Very nice terrace with a fabulous view. Good water pressure in the shower and a good AC system. Cold bottled water in the fridge waiting for us. Friendly host.

Pull out mattress wasn’t comfortable and needed a better cover. For two people who like to walk (20-30 minutes into the main parts of Cefalù) and can manage a lot of stairs, it is fine. We were 3 and the pictures make the place look bigger than it is so with 3 it was tight. I like walking and didn’t mind the stairs so just mentioning as this place would be difficult for anyone not prepared for this. No screens on the windows so we had to keep the place closed up and rely on AC rather than enjoy the sea breeze. Anti-mosquito plugs provided but it would be so easy to just put in screens. No coffee and a very inexpensive coffee maker that only made a single espresso. Check-in directions (Google Maps, Apple Maps and gos coordinates provided but they directed us to a footpath and not the car entrance. The host had to come and get us which was kind of him but finding the place was frustrating and we spent a fair amount of time trying to find the place and check in. Parking was only for a small car as everything in Cefalù is very narrow. I’ve been several times before and parked in the lot near the city and walked into the pedestrian zone which was more convenient if you stay more in the center. For a night or 2 it is good value for the money.

The view from the balcony was exceptional. The 15-20 minute walk to the old town was a good distance, but comfortable.

The leaking bidet, the fridge in the kitchen that would give you a shock when opening it and the hard beds.
