The staff are wonderful, very welcoming and caring. They gave us good recommendations for local restaurants and bars. We are grateful for their efforts to make our stay enjoyable.
The room was poorly maintained. The floor boards were loose in one section and we had to be careful to avoid both tripping and going through the floor. The bed was very poorly constructed with thin wooden slats that could not hold our weight. I am a big man but not unusually so, and I incurred a back injury when a section of the bed simply broke when I was sitting on the edge to put on my shoes. The shower had black mould on the area between the floor and wall. No PowerPoints in the bathroom for hairdryer or shaver.
