Ricci Apartment

The personnel (Julius) was very kind and available via WhatsApp.

The long stairs leading to the apartment are musty and full of mold! The elevator is broken, and the hallway is smelly and a little creepy. The shower is incredibly small. (Even for a "regular-sized" person)

The place was clean and very spacious, we were 3 people and we could all sleep in separated spaces and more than enough fans were provided, really appreciated this visiting Rome in mid July. Location was perfect. Julius received us at the apartment and he was lovely and always ready to help. Definitely recommend it and would stay again if I go back to Rome.

The flat was more spacious than we expected and we loved that the kids room had a loft to help separate them a bit (boy & girl teens need some space!). The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to experience hanging clothes out the window! We loved the location - 20 minutes walk to the Colosseum, 30 minutes to the Vatican, 4 minutes to the Tigre river - as it was central and amongst old cobblestone streets. Fans and portable air conditioners were much appreciated at night so we could sleep. Great to have wooden shutters on bedroom windows to make it dark for sleeping. Marble staircase is a novelty!

Not having access to the lift for luggage was disappointing - no issue otherwise. The key was tricky to open the flat door and the outside door we couldn't unlock ( luckily it was usually open). But having 4 keys was fantastic!

Great location, functional space. Very suitable for 4 people, especially with kids (if they can safely walk stairs). Kind staff.

Bed was old and needs replacement. No electricity for 28 hours due to a short circuit. Host offered another room but this room’s bed was even worse and there was no airco. We liked the gesture though!
