Love on a Shoestring ...

It was my first time in Rome, I stayed with my husband, who is from Rome, in this apartment that has a lot of character. We stayed for 2 months and Guglielmo responded always super quick to any questions I had. The location is perfect, I walked everywhere. There is a laundry service a block away and self-service laundry in Campo de’ Fiori which was a 7 minute walk, Piazza Navona is like a 2 minute walk and Pantheon like 8 mins. There were many restaurants around and cafes too! You have to get used to not having a sink or kitchen area but we ate out a lot so it wasn’t a big deal. The view is magnificent! The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s almost a panoramic view. It gets loud at night because of the bars but you close the windows and it’s fine. Overall we loved the apartment and will definitely try to stay here again when we come back!

This quirky property was exactly what we needed for our longer stay in Rome. The location was absolutely perfect. Wonderful restaurants, the best gelato in the city, grocery stores, and easy access to tourist sites were all readily available outside the front doors. Another favorite feature of the flat was the terrace. The pictures in the posting don't do it justice: you can see multiple churches, beautiful rooftops, and other terraces across the city. This flat has a lift/elevator, which was very convenient after a long day of walking. There are two bathrooms. The bed was comfortable. Don't let the round bed or quirky design features put you off, it just made this place more interesting. Something to note: if you plan on going much cooking, the stove/cooker is on the terrace, and so is the kitchen sink. It is covered in case of rain, and was not a problem. The refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery were inside. Overall, we loved staying here and would stay again.
