Amazing!

Outstanding location with beautiful view. House was clean and very cozy. With 13-15 degrees outside we didn't have to turn the heating on, it's very well isolated. There are plenty of atractions in the driving distance - Plopsa, Safari Park, Caves, castles... One of the best vacations we had!

Excellent chalet in the middle of High Fagnes

Excellent location to explore Hautes Fagnes. The house is well equipped for all activities in winter and in summer, including even a few board games. The hosts are excellent - attentive and helpful.

The GPS coordinates at the voucher from Interhome were not correct, but the description from the hosts yes. The location should be updated to N 50.434235, E 6.219416.

Piece and quiet for 2 days with a great view

The view is simply amazing. Everything you need is available in the cosy house.

Lovely owners

The owners André and Lucille were very kind and helpful. The location is beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with plates and cutlery and it's the perfect retreat for a weekend getaway. There is enough space to leave everything and the furniture has had an update that wasn't visible in the pictures. Everything was spotless in the bathroom, bedrooms, kitchen and living room. A welcome surprise were the packs of spices and food, soap, etc. left by previous renters, which added to the charm of the house. The area is great for cycling or hiking if you are so inclined and people are really friendly in the area.

The toilet in the middle of the living room leaves nothing to the imagination for the rest of the company. We also ended up having a clogged toilet due to some issues with the septic tank and previous renters. The toilet left a sewer smell in the toilet room and a wet splashed bottom if the neighbours flushed. It also led to a slightly uncomfortable stay, as we had to run out on Saturday to find a bathroom elsewhere. The owners tried to fix the issue, which they did, but it threw a bit of a wrench in our plans. The owners were very gracious and apologetic and they comped our costs for a snake drain and an (unnecessary) plunger that we bought. They were very sweet, which made the troubles slightly more bearable.

great getaway

The apartment is in a quiet location, really close to the lake. You look out over the fields and lake from the living room, but the view from Au bord du lac 1 is better. You can park your car on site and walk along the lake (10km trip) from the house. The kitchen is very complete. It has everything from cutlery to pots and pans to have a great stay here. You cook on an electric stove.

The location is not where Booking states where it is. It is about 2km from the city center with restaurants, supermarket and bakery. The location is 50.434238, 6.219394, in Berg, opposite the lake from Bütgenbach. It's not a separate house, but 2 houses in one. If you're unlucky with your neighbors, you will hear them (a bit).

Het uitzicht is fantastisch. En de tuin is heerlijk.

De badkamer is gedateerd en je moet een beetje geluk hebben met je buren. De weg langs het huis is vrij druk. Ook in de avond.
