Probably the best place in Sharjah for its money to stay

Great place with friendly staff, various and tasty food, clean and spacious rooms. The location is perfect, it took us 10 minutes to walk to the sea. Special thanks to housekeeping crew, especially James and Emily for amazing service.

Comfortable

I really liked the service. More than everything else. You finally go to a place where people are actually overjoyed to serve you and make your experience just perfect. Special thanks to Mr. Shakil for making our stay exceptional, Suhal for providing us with whatever we needed and more.. and the chef who was so down to earth and cheerful. He went an extra mile without asking and gave a nice plate of fries and nuggets for our kids. Great staff!

Wonderful!

Thank you to all the staff at Red Castle Hotel for our wonderful family vacation. We liked the rooms – very spacious and comfortable, with a pleasant temperature inside. Breakfasts and dinners were tasty and varied. It’s a 7-minute walk to the beach, and there’s also a shuttle that runs several times a day. The staff were very responsive, always ready to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible! Special thanks to the floor supervision team: Rajitha, Sotib, and Phyu. They were always available for any of our additional requests.

The place is amazing and we were treated like royalty! We were actually sorry we didn't have more time.

The rooms are very dirty. The breakfast was very bad. The hotel is expensive and has very bad service . There were nearer hotels to the beach, and we were deceived by the website saying that the hotel was very near to the sea. The other better hotels had similar prices and had overall better service to provide.

Awesome stay

We had a great stay last weekend and happy to say that we all enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We booked 3 rooms for our families and everything went superb, from check-in till check-out. All the reception staff and officials were outstanding and polite. The rooms are very big and clean, there is a decent breakfast, and a very clean pool. They allowed us late check out at our request and management staff are also very polite and supportive. Counter staff Ms. Anam, Mr. Leonardo, HR Manager Mr. Abdulla and Mr. Lijo – all these persons require special mention. Thanks to the entire staff and will come back definitely.

Peace and quiet

What we love the most were the very good assistance from the Reception, the security and the peace and quiet aura of the place. Swimming pool was so clean and refreshing with shade and very accomodating staff (lifeguard). The hotel was so clean and food was ok. I wish there were white rice as we are asians who loves to eat rice in the morning. :)

My family We had fun and we like to visit again in the hotel.

The hotel is clean , the staff is very accommodating and very good in service. The pool staff is also very helpful and nice Mr. Alvin and his workmate . The food for me is good there's a lot of choices also,The staff is very helpful smiling face and nice the staff especially kristine and his workmates are also good in service in buffet area. Overall, we enjoyed the service we would like to visit again soon . 😉

Very polite and friendly staff. Cleaning in the rooms is daily. There are always minor changes in the breakfast menu daily. Fresh fruits and canned, pastries, omelettes or scrambled eggs will be prepared with you, water (there is no water in the morning in all hotels). Lunch and dinner are fish, chicken, beef meatballs, soup and side dishes, also fruits and desserts. Everything is in sufficient quantity. At the reception there is a manager [email protected] Ekaterina, very responsive, a lot of excursions, and also helps if you have any questions in the hotel or you need some information.Rooms on the second floor are slightly better than 1, there is a room with a balcony.

lived in a room with a child (9 years old) together, for 23 days, payment upon check-in. When leaving, they asked to pay extra for extra bed (extra bed) 700 dirhams. It took a very long time to figure out the issue (with a delay of 45 minutes. We left for the airport and left much earlier, this saved us from being late) that we did not have extra beds. As a result, they apologized after they checked the number and phoned the manager on the phone.

Lovely

Stayed here for just one night and were overall pleased. Dinner was good, and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom ensured a comfortable sleep. The early breakfast prepared for our departure was a thoughtful touch. An unexpected moment came when staff asked us to help look for an item presumably left behind. Though it was a bit tiring as it happened when we were ready to sleep, it wasn't a major inconvenience. Their apology came in the form of a delicious tiramisu, a sweet gesture that complemented our early breakfast nicely.

A downside was the hotel's location, which isn't ideal for catching rideshare services like Uber or local equivalents, especially in the evening. It was nearly impossible to get a ride at night, which could be a hassle for those relying on these services.

Overall, it was a great.

The room was big and clean. The pool was clean. The beach is close by and within walking distance. it's about 5 to 7 minutes. Google doesn't show accurate distance. Be mindful that on the beach, people come naked. If you want to avoid any nakedness, then come early in the morning, like 8 am. Masjid, it's very close by. Taxi is always available by the hotel.

Mix swimming pool. There are no restrictions on swimming clothes as people come to the pool naked. There should be separate times for males and females. Whoever has issues with this then go to the non-Muslim country and you can go whatever you like. The breakfast was terrible, and room service food was also terrible. There are no restaurants nearby.

The hotel was good for the price I paid. Ms. Fatima was very welcoming n nice .She gave me a very good room with a nice view. She was excellent in her job and kind too.

Good hotel but not much to do around

In the hotel itself, everything was as expected in general, no surprises. The hotel offers 3 buffet meals per day for an extra price.

The pool closes too early, around 6. Also, all the evening hours in the gym are reserved for men, meaning there are no activities for you in the evening if you happen to be a lady. Actually, even though it's a seaside, there are not many facilities around where you can spend time. The public beach also closes around 6.

Extended stay in Sharjah at the Red Castle

Hotel is quite new, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very good value for the money as a result. Staff was very helpful: Fatima and others at reception. I stayed for a while and had an opportunity to move to a room with great views of the city and the waterfront. Public beach is a 10 minute leisurely walk from the hotel, the hotel also has a working swimming pool. The city is 5-10 minutes away by taxi, which can be hailed right outside the hotel. A large supermarket is in the same building as the hotel, which is very convenient.

Sometimes it took a couple of reminders to get something done (pick up laundry or fix something in the room), but it was always done in the end, no problem. Food in the buffet was good, I only wish for a slightly greater variety such as not only grilled or fried meat/fish, but also steamed or boiled.

Overall experience was good.

Room was spacious. They have their own parking (ample of parking available). The Security who helped us with our luggages during check-in and the bell boy (during check-out) were very friendly, polite, with a good attitude. The person who was in the reception during our check-in was also very friendly, polite, and was with a good attitude.

Normal check-in time is 14:00 (in some hotels, 15:00). So the room/s should be ready by that time. But unfortunately, we reached the hotel by around 10 pm. Still, there was no towels or sanitaries in the bathrooms. And when we tried to call the reception/housekeeping, there was no response (no one answered the call). Finally, one of us started to search for the housekeeping staff in that floor and one of us went to the reception in person and intimated. In one of the rooms, there was water all over the floor, before we arrived in the room. Food delivery was not allowed to the room. In the basement, there should be some signage which could guide the guests to the lift area.

The hotel charged our card almost 30% higher to offered rate for hidden fees.

The actual price we paid by credit card is almost 30% higher to offered price on booking.com . Point and no more comment. Also, we booked two rooms and can tell not all rooms are same comfort level and condition , Also there i was hoping to see tooth brush and paste like other hotel on same rate.
