I can't recommend this accommodation.

Parking was paid, but they kindly let us park in the morning, so we could drop the car off and enjoy sightseeing right away.

1. Location The location was a bit too far to walk to Marseille, and the area around the property seemed very dirty and unsafe. (Many of the cars parked on the street had broken windows or were heavily damaged.) 2. Cleaning I consider myself a clean guest and have even received messages from hosts thanking me for keeping their places tidy. However, upon checkout at this property, the hostess told me the toilet was dirty and made me clean it while she watched. I don't understand why I had to do the cleaning myself when a cleaning fee was included in my stay. 3. Swimming Pool The swimming pool was too small, so we didn't use it at all, even though it was very hot during our two-night stay.

Colour and comfort!

The host Nathalie. The garden area. The comfortable bed. The plants and colour and the excellent breakfast. It is in an area that is not touristy so you get to see more regular Marseille.

Really bad experience

The neighbourhood is not safe at all. Our car was parked in the underground garage and was vandalized in the first night that we arrived. The property doesn’t assume responsability for the parking lot. We supposed to go to Spain from there, but our holiday stopped at Casa Ammirati, Marseille.

The rooms and courtyard were wonderful and clean. The neighbourhood was a concern for us arriving late with a family. It was unexpected and not on any reviews.

Nice spacious apartment. Ours went to the back so no noise from the road.

It is a little bit away from everything and each trip means walking up and down hills. Busses are only running until 21h /21.30h and not too frequent on weekends even less.

Superb

Very nice owner and easy communication. Nice, sunny and big apartment with view on the garden. Nice swimming pool with extra towels. Well equipped.

Unfortunately the location is not so great. There is good public transport, but there is nothing nice in the immediate vicinity. The street is very dirty. There is dog poop everywhere on the pavement. My daughter stepped into some fresh dog poop just in fort of the house. It is probably better if you have a car.

Eccentric design property

Parking in the nearby garage is a big plus. Many thanks to the host who helped us settle in and let us use the garage until the afternoon.

The apartment has a very peculiar design and not everyone may like it.

lovely good value apartment

lovely well appointed property that had everything I needed . Very close to public transport with secure parking provided.

the only drawback was I was caught up in a rather violent incident at a cafe in the early evening and though I escaped unharmed I didn’t feel 100% safe walking alone after that so made sure to be in reasonably early. I wouldn’t advise single women to walk around alone at night, or at least be careful.

Wonderful garden with small but very nice swimming pool; the host was very friendly, app had good AC, very good value for money

The location is a bit far from the old port; the owners have two small dogs they are very cute but also quite present so that might not be to everyone’s taste

Zen zen that’s where I’ve been

A welcome oasis from reality let alone the heat. Colorful, cool, and refreshing with delightful ambiance, accompanied our roomy apartment and the host is equally delightful as well.

Only a 2 night stay but would have happily stayed longer.

The hosts could not have been more welcoming. Gave us lots of information about getting around and marked points of interest and bus routes on a map for us. The apartment was very spacious and the decor was a feast for the eyes. Free coffee pods for the machine was a bonus. It was a bit out of town but we knew that before booking and the bus to Marseilles centre and the beach was 2 minutes walk and runs every 10 minutes. If a corporate hotel is not your thing you’ll love it.

Quirky gem in Marseilles. Highly recommend.

The apartment is really cute and nicely equipped. Close to public transportation. There is a pool that looked nice but we ran out of time and didn't get to use it. The place is quirky and colorful, the hosts are friendly and so is the dog. We plan to stay there again!

There was some roadwork when we left so the street was blocked. Made getting out a little difficult. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy but in fact it was safe and everyone we met was really nice.

Little paradisiac oasis in Marseille

The hospitality of Franck, it really made us felt as if we were at home. Also the house is extraordinary beauty, with an amazing garden and pool. I don't think there is many others similar in Marseille. 100% reccommended!

Superb

Franck was very welcoming and accommodating, offering tips and suggestions of places to see (e.g. Parc Longchamps). The apartment was perfect and had everything you need if you want to save money on meals and prepare a couple of quick ones for yourself (stovetop, fridge, cookware and utensils). I'd come back again for sure.

The bus that takes you straight into Vieux Port is very close (practically at the end of the street) and frequent but doesn't run late. Getting to the nearest Metro (Chartreux) is a fairly quick alternative but easy to get lost in between the twists and turns of the streets. Took a few tries (one of which was alone late at night) to get the hang of it.
