Studio Raversijde with Sea View

The property was excellent for me and my family. It is in a great location, with the beach just being across the road along with the tram stop. The apartment has everything you need, plenty of kitchen supplies and products and is very comfy, just like a home from home. We love watching the sunset feom the balcony too! Fabienne met us at the apartment at a time that suited us and then came and collected the keys on the day we were leaving, again at a time requested. We drove to Bruges and parked there, which was only a 25 minute drive, and then also got the tram a few time into Oostende. You can also park outside the studio for free, which was an added bonus. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Direct aan het strand vindt u dit prachtige appartement met uitzicht op de zee. 5 min lopen van de tramhalte. Fabienne is een geweldige host, communicatie verliep moeiteloos. Alles aanwezig in het appartement voor een aangename verblijf, ook twee uitklapbare strandstoelen en een parasol. Bed was comfortabel, goede douche, genoeg handdoeken, alles netjes, grote koelkast, schoonmaakmiddelen aanwezig. Op het balkon kunt u heerlijk ontbijten en een boek lezen, zon van 14.00-22.00u en genieten van de zonsondergang (eventueel op het strand). Het strand was erg rustig, weinig mensen. Rustige locatie, weg van de massatoerisme, heerlijk wandelen/hardlopen in de duinen of langs het boulevard of fietsen. In Oostende vindt u veel leuke winkeltjes, restaurants en cafes. In de nabije omgeving Atlantikwall en een Chinese tuin. Circa 3km naar een grote supermarkt. 10 ritten kaart kusttram kost 22,00euro. Excursie naar prachtige Brugge is aan te bevelen. Ik kom graag terug, want ik heb een perfecte zomervakantie gehad.

Snijplank in de keuken is aan vervanging toe. Gelukkig een goede ventilator aanwezig, want het was behoorlijk warm in het verblijf. De kusttram zit vaak 's middags overvol, geen zitplaats, of u moet instappen op het station Oostende om zeker te zijn van een zitplaats.

Sehr sauber, sehr gute Lage. Küche und Bad gut ausgestattet.

Not clearly mentioned in the property description that towels in bathroom and bed linen is not provided and one has to bring these things along. I have faced such inconvenience before for such basic expectations in a property so it was very annoying to pay extra for these things. One should feel happy that the toilet paper was provided. Not mentioned clearly in the property description either that 200 euro cash deposit (without receipt) is required to be made. The bed mattress is small (1.5 bed size, not double bed), bad quality and hard. We suffered backache throughout our stay and were happy to get out of the property to save our backs. In sum, lot of scope for improvement in the property facilities.
