This HAS to be a go to destination

Paul met us in the driveway and couldn't be any more friendlier. Within 5 minutes he offered us a beer and we sat out on the patio and had a drink and a chat. He would have to be the friendliest host in France. Make sure you had into town to one of the many cafes or bars to really experience everything the town offers.

There is nothing to not like. It exceeded all our expectations.

Exceptional

Very friendly owner with a warm welcome. The cottage was in the midle of the forrest. There were apple trees and it all looks like a fairy tail. It is a nice walk of 30min to the old town with a lot of things to see for tourists. Nice restaurants and bars.

It's a well set-up cabin with all you need. Paul is extremely helpful. The road is very quiet and anyway you are not close to it.

Ambiant, economical, comfortable stay for a tired family after a bad travelling day.

Wood cabin with wood burner and much ambiance on a winter night. We booked late, on a covid curfew night, with very little notice. Owner Paul was helpful and obliging when we were late and our gps went offline. Well appointed kitchen. Owner supplied light breakfast when we were unable to make it to the shops before covid curfew. Quiet, nice garden and forest setting.

The 2nd bedroom with bunks is a bit cramped. Extra blankets needed in both rooms. Need more hanging space for winter jackets/winter paraphenalia.

We enjoyed nature, got to be a part of the community, and Paul is a very interesting and kind host!

Paul the host had amenities that made the cabin very comfortable! Tv channels were available in French and English. His kitchen had the latest appliances like a convection oven/ microwave . Bed was comfortable. Shower had plenty hot water. Paul was available to answer questions even offered food to supplement our dinner. Deer were seen early in morning outside our window. You are in the woods yet 10 minutes from the heart of city. Not too many restaurants but a great cafe that did the basics. We enjoyed a brief rest from touristy things to refresh for the next leg of our trip thru France.

GPS could not find the place but Paul sent us great directions! Without them we would be lost.
