Signage could be closer to the road and more prominent

Superby equipped cottage in the old style, with the host thinking of everything you could possibly need. This included things like salt and pepper, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, etc. Very comfortable bed and very cosy on arrival which was really appreciated given the low temperature outside. So was the complimentary bottle of Canadian wine, which was delicious! This was an excellent choice and would highly recommend!

Nothing.... hard to find any negatives!

Everything has been planned by the host to offer a maximum of comfort to the guests away from home: luxury towel & linen, safety bars in the shower, complimentary bottle of wine, social games, books, fireplace, washer & dryer, etc.

Comfortable and spacious, with a thoughtfully equipped interior that includes everything you might need. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the check-in process was smooth thanks to clear, detailed instructions. The hosts were responsive throughout the stay.

The cleanliness left much to be desired — some appliances were grimy, and areas behind furniture were noticeably dirty. When I moved a side table to plug in my phone, I found several dead bugs. There was also a strong musty odor in some areas, especially inside the kitchen cabinets. A boil water advisory was in effect during our stay, though it was unclear whether it applied to the entire area or just this property. Additionally, after we had already settled in for the evening — and past the point when we could make alternative arrangements — we were informed that the water supply would be cut off at 8 a.m. the following morning due to repair work in the area. This last-minute notice was unsettling, especially since no prior warning had been given, and it left us uncertain about whether we’d have access to running water the next day. Thankfully, that didn’t happen, but being told there was nothing that could be done if it did left us feeling quite uneasy during the rest of our stay.
