Would highly recommend this property and we will stay there again if and when we return to Lucerne.

The location was great. Easy walking distance to the train station and old town. Grocery stores were also close by. The manager ( Michelle ) and the owner of the property were very accommodating and friendly. Lucerne was a highlight of our trip and staying at this property enhanced the visit.

The property was excellent, it was in a great location - 5 minute walk to the waterfront and 15 minute walk to the train station. The apartment was clean, and was well equipped, especially the kitchen. The staff were super helpful, answered any queries we had, and provided chocolates for our arrival, and had brought us a bottle of Prosecco for the New Year! Would highly recommend!

One thing I would mention is that the apartment was extremely warm, and we couldn’t work out how to turn the heating down

Great place to stay!

Christian, our host, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us suggestions for restaurants and sights to see. The apartment has many beautiful art pieces - not like the run of the mill hotels. Location was within walking distance to Old Town, Lake Lucerne and train station. A bus stop was around the corner for busses to the station as well.

The interior could have been better lit, with higher voltage bulbs.

Lucerne stay

The apartment is in an excellent location for all amenities. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and communication was quick and efficient.

The apartment would have been perfect, however the walls, ceiling are very thin and we could hear everything from neighbours. This detracted from our stay.

Excellent stay .

Loved our stay here in Lucerne. Good location very near to bus stop and easy walk to station. The facilities are very nice with free laundry after 4.0 pm. They helped us with necessary guidance about induction stove. A very good place to stay and enjoy Lucerne and surroundings. The property is very nice and functional but cannot offer great views.

Comfortable apartments close to the centre of town

Fantastic location, just a short 10 minute walk from the train station and close to all the major attractions. Christian was incredibly responsive and check in was well organised. It had a homely feel and it was wonderful to have cooking amenities.

The bathroom door didn’t close properly but it wasn’t really an issue

Would stay again in this facility however would reserve a larger apartment.

We arrived early at the location and Christian met us on arrival and made tour room available. The location was within easy reach from the Lucerne railway station, could walk within 12min. or catch Local No14 Bus 5min. The studio apartment offered a comfortable stay for the 4 nights however a little small.

Had we known we would have booked their bedroom apartment rather than their Studio Apartment. The studio apartment included a kitchen reducing the overall comfort and size. This facility had washing machine's (two) and dryer available to guests, this was our main attraction... however, had restricted access as they serviced the cleaners in their daily work to the apartment complex.

I stayed in a spacious and tastefully decorated two-room apartment. It was well-situated, close to the train station, bus stops, supermarkets, and the old town. I could easily walk to all the places I needed to go. The owner was accommodating and pleasant.

A clean, efficient, and reasonably priced apartment in the perfect area of Lucerne.

We were extremely pleased with our little studio apartment in Lucerne. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was so close to the main sites including the train station (12 minute walk) and the ferries. There were two excellent buses that got us back-and-forth to the train station in three minutes. Christian, the property manager, was so helpful and provided everything we needed. It was a perfect stay at a very reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a little bit hard to locate the apartment by Google map…but when we confuse, Christian came out to meet us. He is exceptional nice and helpful.

Very comfortable stay. The bus stop was close by so getting to the rail station was easy.

The information provided by Christian prior to arrival made checking in seamless. The key was easily accessed with the provided code for the lock box. Christian was helpful in suggesting local restaraunts and interesting sites to visit.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Lucerne.

The location, the room was spacious and the kitchen with coffee and appliances conducive to having breakfasts and snacks in room. Christian the host was terrific. From the time he met us to help us get luggage up to property until bidding us goodbye he answered any of our requests with valuable suggestions for restaurants and activities promptly.

Was nice to have a small kitchen and fridge as Lucerne is very expensive to eat out everyday.Christian was very helpful in answering any and all questions. Even when I couldn’t figure out the nespresso machine haha.Also only a 10 min or so walk from the train station. Would stay again for sure.

Good and bad for the apartments

Good location from the bus stop, station and famous sight-seeing. The apartment location & entering info is timely informed and very detail with excellent photos.

No microwave oven and air conditioning. Other rooms' noise is directly transferred to my room, so it make me no good sleep and rest during staying.

Easy access to downtown Lucerne, very responsive to any questions or issues

Conveniently located in quiet neighborhood still within a 5 minute walk of old town Lucerne and the main harbor area. East to access, even walking with rolling suitcases from the train station. Christian was wonderfully responsive.

The location was great. Christian was so friendly and went above and beyond to help us. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was clean and well maintained. Being able to wash and dry our clothes without a hassle and free laundry detergent was fantastic.

The bed did sink in the middle. The apartments really hold the heat in and it was quite warm when we were there so hard to get it to be cool enough to be comfortable. We did thankfully have a fan and kept the windows open. But something to consider if staying when it is really hot.

A refined Lucerne retreat.

Discreetly located just minutes from the Lion Monument, this apartment balances centrality with calm. The kitchen was superb—well-appointed and ideal for longer stays. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to the station, or 5 minutes by bus. Host Christian was gracious, responsive, and thoroughly dependable. A stay marked by quiet comfort and effortless charm.

Great place to stay and a great host

Lovely apartments very close to the bust stop. Clear directions were provided before we checked in. Christian was very responsive to our queries as and when we had them during our 4 day stay. The apartment had everything we needed . 1 room was small with low bed. However Christian accommodated us on the same floor which was very helpful. There was a beautiful church just opposite! Lots of restaurants just around the corner at Lowenplatz. Hieni was great for breakfast and there was a huge COOP supermarket. The lion monument was just walking distance and so was the Chapel bridge! Found a nice Indian restaurant Kanchi!!

Nothing much other that it was a bit quiet around. We stayed 4 days and just think the cleaners could have come once in 3 days rather than a week.

Fantastic location and apartment, friendly communications

We really enjoyed our stay in Appartments Hofquartier. Communications were consistently clear, prompt and welcoming (thank you Christian!). We received an upgrade from the studio we'd booked to a larger apartment, which was great. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped. The location is fantastic - just a few minutes' walk from shops and bars, and a quick bus ride from the train station (or a lovely 15 minute stroll - the views across Lake Lucerne blew our minds every time we walked by). We'd definitely stay here again and we're already discussing a return trip to Switzerland in the future.

We experienced some noise from construction works next door but we were warned about this in advance and managed to plan around it by getting up early. We appreciated the gestures to compensate for the inconvenience, including chocolates and upgrade - so no complaints overall!
