Paku Mas Hotel

The staff were very accommodating with our requests (especially when we needed very specific documentation) and questions. Even if I don't speak Bahasa Indonesia very well, they were very helpful and it was easy to communicate with the staff. When I lost our breakfast stubs on the first night of our stay, the front desk staff told us to just show our room key or give our room number. The rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast selection was modest and was satisfactory considering it already came with our room price. It has a very relaxed and resort-like feel even when it's next to a major road. I wish I could have tried using the swimming pool, but this property was a very relaxing place to return to after a long day.

The shower and toilet room constantly had ants crawling from a small gap in the wall, probably from outside. They congregated closer to the window and not directly in the shower, so it did not bother us that much.

Welcoming and genuinely hospitable team. A quaint property with charming decor, room size is good for a long trip and luggage storage has so much space. Staff goes out of their way to offer support even with language barriers. Must return for more :)

The spa is not located at the property. That would be a good addition.

We stayed at Paku Mas Hotel during our trip to Yogyakarta and had a wonderful experience. The hotel property is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great mix of Indonesian and continental dishes. What really stood out was the personal touch in everything — from the attentive service to the excellent room service. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to the Heritage Room, which made our stay even more special. The owner, Leobert, takes a genuine interest in ensuring guests are comfortable and well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it for an additional day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yogyakarta!
