Location so peaceful. View incredible at any hour of the day. Local shop close by, we cooked two of three nights. A 1km walk to the ferry to easily visit busy busy Bellagio and Lenno, nice to come back to tranquility. Wifi was good, we could watch a movie on the iPad. You can swim in the lake (wear reef shoes or flip flops, the rocks can be sharp!).
No taxis or Uber, not Villa Lina’s fault, but if relying on public transport ensure you have a driver to meet you at Como station, we lost 2 hours trying to convince a taxi to take us. The buses are small because of the narrow roads and fill quickly.
