Cairns Ocean View Apartment in Aquarius

Property was generally well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. Apartment was very spacious and had great views. Location was excellent.

2nd bedroom was very hot. Light in main bedroom was very dim could hardly see. Powerpoint in main bathroom was loose or faulty.

Did not have breakfast.

All good.

Loved the fact that the balcony could be open or closed in. There were great facilities, ideal for self catering as well as good restaurants etc. in walking distance.The apartment was bright and fresh and clean.

the bathrooms were a little tired but made up for with nice towels and toiletries.

Conveniently located to cafes, restaurants, convenience store, bottle shop, ice creamery, RSL, plus the park across the road with walkway and bikeway. A short drive away to Airport, Woolworths, Cairns Central, Marina and Hemingway's Brewery. The views from this level 8 apartment were really nice out over the ocean and from the back balcony the views were to the mountains. The apartment itself was lovely and spacious with a huge well-equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Loved the Sukin hair and skin products in the bathrooms. Having a designated carpark within the building was fantastic.

The upright air conditioner in the second bedroom was noisy. The apartment had a musty smell throughout. The door handle to one of the glass sliding doors (which faced the esplanade) was broken and came off entirely when we first opened the door. This meant we couldn't use it. There were ants under the kitchen sink. Probably time for pest control treatment. One of the beds had somebody else's hair on the pillow. The bedsheets didn't match. Two of the lounge chairs had white towels covering them as upholstery, the large two-seater lounge had a large bedspread, covering it - a little tacky.
