What did you like about the property? We absolutely loved our stay at Horta da Coutada. It is such a warm, charming and welcoming place, beautifully decorated with lovely artsy pieces and thoughtful details that give it so much character. It feels less like a hotel and more like staying in a beautiful Alentejo home. Mariana and Tomas are wonderful hosts, genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel completely at home. The breakfast was exceptional, easily one of the best we have had during our travels, with wonderful variety, quality and presentation. The location is also excellent, peaceful and relaxing while being very convenient for exploring Monsaraz and the surrounding area. We left wishing we could stay longer. If we return to Monsaraz, we wouldn’t even look for somewhere else to stay. We would come back to Horta da Coutada in a heartbeat. Thank you, Mariana and Tomas, for making our stay so memorable!

This was truly the best place we’ve ever stayed at! ❤️ The hospitality was absolutely wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, and the owners were genuinely the kindest and most welcoming people. Such a rare little gem — easily an 11/10 experience! ✨ We would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Vila Nova de Milfontes. You’ll feel right at home from the moment you arrive. 🥰
