PYRGOS RALLI ESTATE Guesthouse

Lovely quiet location away from the town and the property was in an olive grove which was lovely. We did not have a car so the walk was not far, but part of the way there was no path. so a little dangerous. But it was easy to get a taxi and not expensive. We had a confortable nights sleep.

The hot water was not very hot, but probably due to the solar water heating and there had been not much sunshine!

The property is in a beautiful location, very close to the town and yet far enough removed to feel quiet and peaceful. There’s a beautiful sea view and a lovely porch to sit and take in the view. The facilities inside the house are lovely, the furnishings are modern and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is well equipped and has lovely toiletries. Anthe was an excellent host, she met us at the property and welcomed us, providing recommendations for the island, stocking the fridges and cupboards with some water and snacks. She was always happy to be contacted with any questions or needs and was very welcoming. The property was great value for money, especially given another two people could have stayed there on the sofa bed.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property! Being allergic to cats there were quite a few around which was a concern at times but that is in no way the fault of the property.

We loved our little apartment, it was a great size and had everything you needed. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved the homemade fig jam!

The host and her daughter were wonderful - very welcoming on arrival and helpful on departure. We were delighted with their attention to our needs. The accommodation is spacious and with a couple of lovely spots to sit, read and talk.

The walk to and from the town shouldn't be underestimated - it is around 15-20 minutes depending on where in the town you are and although that in itself is not a great distance it is hilly and later on, dark. Taxis are not always easy to get. The apartment itself isn't as attractive as the photographs suggest.
