A charming apartment in a great central location, with a stunning roof terrace

Comfortable apartment in a great central location, which is easily walkable to all the major sights and great restaurants. The highlight is the stunning roof terrace. Our hosts Jacopo and Gino were attentive and made us very welcome. If you get the opportunity, book the top floor apartment which has a private roof terrace with views over the Vatican City.

The apartment is very difficult to find - the entry door is marked as a dentist with no other labeled occupants and no signage for Sant'Ivo. We had to ask a neighbouring business how to get in (and you need to be inside the building to collect the key!). The tiny ancient elevator isn't for the faint-hearted - really only for single occupancy or luggage (and not for the claustrophobic!)

This is a wonderful apartment, which would make your stay in Rome comfortable and memorable.

The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center of Rome. It is a relatively short walk to all 'must see' sites. There is a nice private terrace with a view of major Rome churches. Everything is ready for a comfortable stay in Rome.

It might be a bit noisy at night, but, hey ,you are in the heart of a big city full of tourists just like you.

Nice apartment in great location, but a little overpriced and too many restrictions.

Very nice, spacious apartment in great location. Few minutes walk to Parthenon and Piazza Navona. 25 minutes walk to Vatican. Near to bus station.

For the price, breakfast should have been included. Restrictions-immediately after we booked the place, we received a message saying that if we don’t arrive on time, we will be charged 20 € per hour. We arrived on time & still had to wait outside for 30 minutes for someone to come and open the door. Apartment is near a bar that can get quite noisy sometimes at night.

Everything was perfect ! The fact that you have all nearby, you can walk and you reach all the attraction. You can move easy to many direction. The host is very nice and attentive to details. Ohhh and the terrace is all you need there .

Love this place.

I've been to Europe many times and met many wonderful people, but Jacopo is the best. First of all, his apartment is so beautiful that it makes you feel like you're in a palace. We had a little problem right before checkout, but he always smiled and made sure everything was okay. I've never met anyone like him. He's just like the Archangel Gabriel, and he's also incredibly handsome. We started our honeymoon at his apartment, and that experience made us fall in love with Rome and will definitely be back. Of course, booking Jacopo's apartment will be the first thing we do when we do. I truly, truly recommend this place. Remember me, Jacopo!

Nice place to stay if you don’t mind poor internet service

The room was clean and spacious

Some things needed repair, like the shower. The internet was working only at the entrance of the apartment, not the bedroom or bathroom.

Overall it was a good property and glad it was available.

The location of the apartment was great. It was close to the major attractions and within walking distance to catch the tube or bus. And easy enough to get a taxi. Nice size apartment and plenty of closet space. The kitchen was a nice bonus space, small but efficient. There was a small washer & dryer.

Screens on the windows would’ve been a great start. We constantly had to battle mosquitoes and gnats. There was NO reception room so we couldn’t relax in apartment anywhere else than our bed. That was poorly advertised. Communication with host was just over text, and she didn’t communicate well on the last day meet.

Fabulous!

Just get it. The highlight for the Rome trip was apartment and pizza making class. At least I like that over there. The property in great location the most popular sightseeing just 10-15 minutes walking!!! The apartment was clean, we had 4th floor with balcony. But there is also terrace, the terrace has beautiful view and you can just sit sipping coffee or wine and enjoy the beauty. There is a washing machine in the property also, and the most important AIR CONDITIONER! We had welcomed bottle of wine also.

Everything was fine, I might just say a few more utensils would be great especially for egg frying. But it wasnt a big problem you can flip it with a fork )

Lovely place with an amazing outside area

The private terrace on the roof with a great view over the roofs of the historic center was a wonderful surprise for us. The apartment itself is equipped very well with all what you need for a short stay. We loved everything, even the small imperfections which made it even more charming. You feel the love the owners put inside in order to make their guests feeling well. I would return exactly there if I will ever come back to Rome. Thank you!!!

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff (Jacopo was so kind and helpful). With the very high heat in Rome that we had during our 4 days, it was very important to have air conditioning. I would bet we had the best in all of Rome! We were on the 5th floor so we were nervous it would be hot but it was a refuge from the heat! The roof top terrace is amazing as well. The apartment on 5th floor is very large and well decorated. We loved it!

Fantastic olde world elegant socious well appointed with great location!

Fantastic classic well appointed spacious apartment with great location and the most unusual experience of access to a rooftop patio. We felt like denizens of the rooftop world parking out there at night time after it had cooled down sufficiently ( around 9:30pm only during the recent heat wave). Even had a lift to get our luggage to the second floor! And it had a washing machine and iron! With a large fridge.

Great location — 2 minutes to the Pantheon. Large, comfortable apartment (Holiday Home was the apartment we booked). We enjoyed the large private balcony to sit back, sip an aperitivo, and listen to the church bells. The elevator was a bonus. Yes, it is small as are most elevators in Italy. We could fit two people and most of our luggage at once. Host was responsive and welcoming.

The bed was not comfortable. Some of the living room furniture had stains that need to be steam cleaned. However, the apartment was otherwise clean.

Location was perfect. Close to Pantheon and ideally located centrally between the different areas we visited (Monti, Trastevere & Vatican). We were extremely pleased with the Terrace. From the description we were unsure if we would have access however upon arrival was told it was a shared terrace that we could use anytime. A lot of space on the terrace and plenty seating and beautiful flowers! We enjoyed taking our wine up to the terrace, after long day site seeing, watching the sun set over the rooftops! The bed was extremely comfortable. A/C was quiet and did a brilliant job of keeping the room cool. Felt extremely safe in the apartment with several lockable doors throughout the apartment buildings.

Excellent location! It's very noisy at night, so bring ear plugs! The apartment was good size but not as clean as we expected. Rooftop terrace had fantastic views. The elevator is very small but great to have in Rome. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Our stay here was amazing! Communication with the staff was great. We had to check in late, but they were super helpful. The apartment itself was adorable and really spacious.
