Central Suites

We stayed at Central Suites for 11 days and had a fantastic experience. Our two-bedroom apartment was immaculate, fresh and very well looked after. It was fairly compact, but had everything we needed, fresh bed linen and towels, toiletries, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The kitchen in our apartment was small and basic, but we were still perfectly able to cook meals for a family of four. There is also a washing machine available on the premises for a small charge, which was really handy during a longer stay. Despite having that option, we were still offered fresh towels and fresh bed linen change during our stay, which was a lovely touch. The location was brilliant for us. Our favourite Welbee's supermarket is only about a five-minute walk away, so getting groceries or anything else we needed was incredibly easy, and the seafront is also around five minutes away. A special mention has to go to Edwin, who was absolutely amazing throughout our stay: attentive, helpful and always available via WhatsApp if we needed anything. The housekeeping lady was a star too, always friendly and happy to help. This wasn't our first visit to Malta, so we already know the area quite well, and Central Suites made a great base for our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to consider staying here again on our next trip. Location, clean, air condition, bathroom. Comfortable pillows.

It was smaller than I expected.

The air conditioning and the fans were always working, the beds were comfy and basically we had no discomforts throughout our vacation.

- I felt like the place was kind of falling apart a little bit, on arrival the bin and a light in each room wasn’t working, neither were the ceiling fans and the slabs on my bed broke on the second day when i sat down (however when we contacted reception about the bed and ceiling fans they were more than happy to fix it) - If you really don’t like creepy crawlies, maybe think twice because we saw a fair share of spiders and ants. - I felt like there were a few hidden costs that should be made more visible prior to booking, such as the handling fee when paying with card, the 200 euro damage deposit, having to pay 5€ a day for air conditioning and so on.
