Hôtel Majestic

The bed was comfortable and nice linens. The room was decorated nicely. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet but there was very little variety. The location was excellent, near the river, the opera house and the Quincones tram. There was cool water and coffees available always in the lobby.

There was no bathtub in any of our 3 rooms. This is needed for children. The shower floor was extremely slippery.

Comfortable mattress and pillows. Cleanliness and attention to detail.

Should provide at least complimentary water bottle upon arrival. Refilling after arrival is acceptable.

The superb location very close to a main tram interchange and Rue St Catherine

A minor point is no comfortable armchair type public-area seating is available although there were ample chairs and tables and a small sofa

The hotel is located in an excellent location, walking distance from a large number of attractions, the historic city center, the river, and public transport to get everywhere else in the city. The room was a good size, seemed very new, and the bathroom was also spacious and brightly lit. The A/C was also working well, which was important as Bordeaux can get very hot. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful.

We paid for breakfast separately - it was very tasty and of good quality, but the price felt a little bit steep for the food selection available.
