Location and view were fantastic. The space was clean and provided a nice living space for relaxing and family time. Kitchen had all the tools and dishes needed for making meals.

Internet dropped out frequently. The duvets were a bit much for the warm nights. The whole area is incredibly steep hills. There are taxis which I recommend on checkout because that is a steep climb carrying luggage. To get to town is only 10 minutes to walk, but it is a steep uphill to get there. Be warned.

Sofa was uncomfortable.

The view is unparalleled. I'm not joking. Look down the valley at Lauterbrunnen and the three peaks. Beautiful in the morning and evening. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen stove top got hot quickly and while the kitchen looks tiny, we were able to make plenty of meals for 4 without any issues. Plenty of space in the bedrooms and the living room.

It's a hike down from the station, and back up. After one or two times you get used to it. Really could use some room fans for when it gets hot. We were there and it was hitting 85-90 degrees in Wengen. You can open the windows for a nice cross breeze, but sometimes you don't want windows open (for sound, for smells, for bugs) and a few inexpensive room fans would go a long way. WiFi was on the slow side and dropped on occasion.

The location was very nice. The property had a somewhat dated feel but is perfectly fine and was well stocked as far as the kitchen.

We got to town and the GPS took us to an empty field - not their fault. They did just move locations of their office apparently. I did get emails from them about this but mentioning that the office (and key lock boxes) were literally behind the train station would have saved some aggravation (like literally behind the train station - they share a roof). We received a code for the lockbox, but it turned out there were 8 or so lockboxes, each with a code. We didn’t know which lockbox was was ours and the code didn’t work for any of them. Thanks to a kind woman who pitied us standing in the middle of our field wondering what the heck was going on clearly knew what our issue was and helped get us sorted out quickly by acting as a liaison with the property management people (and a taxi driver helped too - thanks, folks!!!). The beds weren’t made - a DIY affair. After a very long day of travel, not what you want. Once we got in and settled, it was fine. Had a great time there!
