Wir hatten einen fantastischen und einmaligen Aufenthalt! Das Konzept, in einem ehemaligen, historischen Gefängnis zu übernachten, ist genial umgesetzt. Die Zimmer (auch wenn sie mit 9 m² natürlich kompakt und absolut authentisch sind) bieten echtes Gefängnis-Feeling, sind aber modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. ​Ein riesiges Highlight war die tolle und exklusive Führung durch das Gebäude – man erfährt so viel Spannendes über die Geschichte des Hauses. Dazu noch die gestreiften Sträflingspullover für lustige Erinnerungsfotos: Ein riesiger Spaß! ​Alles war super sauber, das Personal unglaublich herzlich und die Atmosphäre einfach einmalig. Vielen Dank für die unvergessliche Zeit!

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Von hier aus kann man das Stadtzentrum Meinigen sehr gut erreichen. Sehr schöne Aussicht von der Dachterasse des Hotels auf die Stadt. Das Personal ist sehr nett.

Poor hospitality; poor breakfast (all in the cheapest variant possible, felt like in a youth hostel); better don’t book a single room otherwise you get an open shower in the small room... leading to high humidity...
