Stunning view from the apartment, which is impeccable and has a beautiful garden. Claudio is a very welcoming host, on hand to answer questions but doesn’t intrude. What a wonderful part of Italy Aosta is!

Warm and costly agritourismo in the mountains

The apartment was perfect for our visit to Aosta (and weekend skiing in Pila). The apartment is beautiful - tastefully decorated, warm and cosy, and fully furnished with everything that we needed for our stay. Extra little touches (local wine and apple juice as a welcome!) were greatly appreciated and the friendly host Mario made sure that we felt welcomed and had everything that we needed. I would unreservedly recommend Agritourismo Gil Elfi to anyone wanting to visit the Aosta area, and hope that we can come back to stay again soon…

Cozy apartment with view of mountains

We booked one week and enjoyed it so much, we booked another week! That probably tells you all you need to know. The apartment is very cozy, comfortable and beautiful. Internet was fast and suitable for Zoom videoconferencing. Pet friendly - our dog loved lounging on the balcony and watching the world go by. We went hiking almost every day during peak autumn colors - the area is stunning. The host is very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Wir haben es sehr genossen, vor allem die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber und würden wieder hier übernachten.

Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, eine gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, eine tolle Bergsicht aus allen Fenstern und vom Balkon, ein anliegender großer Parkplatz, die ruhige Lage und doch nur wenige Minuten per Auto ins Zentrum. Ein sehr leckerer Apfelsaft zur Begrüßung aus eigenem Anbau. Wer gern den Kontakt zu echten Menschen der Region sucht, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Kleinigkeiten: die Farbkombination der Wände würde ich überdenken, ein schönes Naturweiß würde das ganze noch besser aussehen lassen und zum schönen Holz passen. Die (dunklen) Handtücher haben etwas gemüffelt (was von nicht abgetöteten Bakterien herrührt), als ob sie nicht heiß genug gewaschen würden, besser weiße Handtücher und kochen. Eine Toilettenbürste gab es nicht. Und ja, die bellenden Hunde - der Nachbargrundstücke, nicht der Vermieter - nerven (wir konnten zwei ausmachen), aber nur, weil sonst alles absolut ruhig ist - abends, nachts und morgens, was wir als sehr positiv empfanden.

Desconexión en plena naturaleza

El apartamento de la planta baja con salida directa al jardín era una maravilla y tenía todo lo que podíamos necesitar para 10 días de desconexión descubriendo el Valle de Aosta. Las vistas de la montaña, el jardín verde lleno de flores, la fuente de agua... fue un remanso de paz. El apartamento está nuevo, decorado con mucho gusto, típico apartamento de montaña de madera, con un baño moderno y una cocina completamente equipada. El anfitrión fue súper amable. La localización es perfecta para un primer contacto con el Valle d'Aosta ya que se encuentra relativamente equidistante de las zonas de mayor interés y a escasos 10 minutos del centro de Aosta.

Un alojamiento maravilloso al que volveremos sin duda.

Todo increíblemente maravilloso: Claudio es un anfitrión muy agradable, atento a todo lo que necesites y servicial sin agobiar, el apartamento es precioso, decorado con mucho gusto y con detalles que marcan la diferencia como las flores y plantas perfectamente cuidadas con mimo por Claudio y su pareja y el entorno, al estar en Aosta en un barrio elevado a las afueras, es perfecto porque es fresco y con vistas espectaculares de las montañas. El mejor alojamiento en el valle de Aosta y estuvimos en muchos. Volveremos a Aosta en cuanto podamos y sin duda repetiremos en Gli Elfi. Muchas gracias por todo.

Una fuga nella casetta degli Elfi

L'appartamento è estremamente pulito e confortevole, con tutto il nececssario per fermarsi anche diversi giorni. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e sempre pronti ad aiutare andando ben oltre i doveri del buon host.

Ruim en schoon appartement. Volledig ingerichte keuken inclusief kruiden en zout en suiker. Balkon met uitzicht op de bergen. Zeer rustig gelegen. Vriendelijke gastheer die goed Frans spreekt. Ik beveel dit appartement aan.

Top Unterkunft mit Sicht auf Aosta, mit nervigen, den ganzen Tag bellenden Hunden der Nachbarschaft

Appartement ist wie beschrieben, Fotos passen auch, ist alles genau so. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem Ortsteil von Aosta etwa 150 Höhenmeter über dem Talboden mit wunderbarer Aussicht übers Tal. In die Stadt zu Fuß etwa 30 min. In die Natur zum Wandern,... etwa 5 Minuten zu Fuß.

Bei Booking.com und auch auf der eigenen Internetseite der Unterkunft war angegebenen, dass eine Elektro-PKW Lademöglichkeit direkt am Haus ist. Da ich ein Elektroauto habe, hatte ich den Vermieter bei Anreise gefragt, wo denn diese ist. Er lachte und meinte, dass das zwar stimmt, aber nur für seinen eigenen PKW ist. Muss man halt in der Stadt laden,sagte er.🤔 Komischer Weise war einen Tag später die Info mit der Lademöglichkeit am Haus von den Internetseiten gelöscht worden 😅🤷. In der Beschreibung der Unterkunft steht auch, dass eine Grillmöglichkeit vorhanden ist. -> stimmt zwar, ist aber nicht nutzbar, weil zugemüllt. Ein kleines Problem mit dem super netten und freundlichen Vermieter gibt es dennoch: Er spricht italienisch, französisch und englisch (mit Händen und Füßen). Und was wirklich total genervt hat: Jeden Tag stundenlanges Bellen der Nachbarshunde😠😡🤬. Egal welche Uhrzeit, meistens Abends, Nachts und Frühs.
