Waste of money

Just the staff were help-full but unfortunately they did not provided good training about how to keep neat and clean property. Have met the menager but he was unprofessional and totally disrespectful person.

Only good part was property is in nature feels like you are in forest but overall vary bad experience we have booked it for 4 night buts only spend 2 and left the property and booked hotel somewhere else . There was no enough utensils to use not cleaned stuff. there was water dripping from the ceiling not only one spot but multiple spots. Insects and reptiles are everywhere . Menager is useless. But the staff is really nice. Vary helpful staff . Looks like owner and manager are just just using staff over. But manger has no knowledge about about how to maintain property. We have asked for refunds for out time and money waste but when we left property they stoped replying back and seems like they scammed . I would definitely recommend someone to not go there. there are more good and very nice properties in cheapest amount.

The private pool and private surrounds and nature / Manager really helpful and good English speaker. Meals we did order were very nice and well priced.

Lack of privacy staff walking around unexpectedly. Lack of kitchen utensils especially an electric kettle and a modern well working toaster as we did our own cooking most of the time. Asking staff to rectify maintenance issues when should have been checked and rectified before our 11 night stay. Unfortunately beach out front full of plastic and rubbish and not nice due to rubbish constantly washed ashore by tides.

A perfect place if you're looking for peace, relaxation, and beautiful nature. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10-day stay, and Leon took excellent care of us. The villa itself is well-designed, with a large pool with a children's section, a large open space, comfortable bedrooms, and nice bathrooms. The villa itself is located a bit outside of larger towns (even basic shopping requires a 10-15-minute scooter ride), but that suited us perfectly. The nearby beach is practically yours; we didn't see anyone there except the villa's guests. Consider going to Jembrana, to Kurma Asih Sea Turtle Conservation Center. Excellent experience!

There was nothing wrong with our stay, there are sometimes dogs running around on the beach but that's not the villa's fault.

Tranquil Paradise: A Blissful Escape to a Hidden Bali Villa

We really enjoyed our stay here. This villa looks exactly like the pictures, what you see is what you get and more. Besides the front door and the doors on the bedrooms, it is all open plan living. Rama, Leon and all the staff members we're amazing. Their service was exceptional as well as the food, highly recommend trying as much as you can. They have their own driver and he was awesome. They serviced the rooms everyday and maintained the surrounding area almost everyday with a smile. The black sand beach is so close, it was a treat to have a beautiful pool and the sea so near. If you've already experienced most of bali's treasures, you love nature and absolute peace and quite this is the place for you!

Seeing as it was my first time in Bali the only fault i found, was that the villa was very far away from all the activites i had booked that were back in the hustle and bustle, especially for our drivers. It was a 4 hour trip each way, dependant on traffic as well. Im also usually not one for dogs and they were on the beach sometimes but they have owners. Once they realised we were staying there they become accustomed to us. Other then that, i didn't dislike anything about my stay here. Highly recommened booking if your not there to explore.

It is a very nice place, location and facility wise but they can do more on their personal service

The facility was quiet, peaceful, serene and so much embedded in a lush green nature with a very good size of pool that you rarely can get elsewhere.

The room service is hardly responsive. They created a whatsapp group with their 3 main staff members, but none responsive with our inquiry. They hardly come to check on us. There also a few of not functional or not available equipment in the facility.

Great place for relaxing, but the host were not good.

The Villa is great, lots of space and the garden and pool is amazing. Great place for relaxing without the big tourist crowds.

The host at our stay (Leon) was not a great experience. He would come unannounced to the villa everyday, walking in without asking and not respecting privacy at all. Sometimes he would text a message, asking if he could come by, if i didn't reply - he would just walk in anyways. Onetime my girlfriend was in the shower and they just walked in.. Dinner was always served way to early and when i said it was not okay he just blamed someone else. The food was very average (often below average), and you have to order dinner latest at 15.00 and it will be served latest at 18.30 - we were very surprised by this "service". We were charged full breakfast two times even though we only had a fruit plate, he also planned a trip to the nationalpark but forgot to check if it was open - it was not. So we spend a full day and a lot of money for nothing.. He did not tell us the only way to pay was with cash before the last day. Paypall was and option, but it took time to create and account and i spent more on fees this way. Leon was overall a terrible host and has no idea of how to respect the guest, we spent so much time communication with him because he always had a lot of question and always walked in the villa to ask them. I have never experienced a host like this. The staff are also random walking in and out of the garden, also in the night. The tours are expensive, and i paid 30-40% more on their drivers than i paid other drivers in bali, so bring your on and plan your own tours.

Exceptional

This is a great place and definitely value for money. The villa is very big as are the bathrooms. The garden is huge and having your own pool is fabulous. Will come back.

It is advertised that you can have a private chef. It's really just a young person who works there and cooks basic food. The food was great and my only issue is that the word chef is very, and probably intentionally, misleading. The latest we could have our food was 6pm, that's pretty bad as it's too early for dinner. Had to pay for our food via PayPal and sent a message to the owner asking how the staff get their service charge (tip) if I'm sending money online to Europe. No response...?? Seeing as they were so nice and helpful and I happen to know that staff don't always get service charges in Indonesia I tipped them direct with the small amount of cash I had. So basically I had to double tip if I wanted to feel confident that they would get a tip.

Great location. Great amenities!

Everything was perfect. We were allowed to spend a great and extended weekend here to get some distance from everyday life! We were received in a super friendly manner, the villa and the property are huge. The villa and the entire property are beautiful, lovingly maintained, exceptionally clean and really leave nothing to be desired, the garden and the pool are huge. The kitchen is fully equipped, it has several sets of dishes. In any case, we were all wanting to come back next year again!

The only thing that we wanted to have is more sun, the rest was amazing!

Perfect stay, with attentive host

It was a great getaway and we felt very comfortable in this place in a very cozy setting! Expecting exactly what you see in the pictures! The villa is simply wonderful, very nicely decorated, you can relax in the pool. We would definitely recommend this beautiful place, a perfect place for unplugging, glad to come back!

We really enjoed it

It was wonderful staying at Melaya Villas! The villa, the pool, and the yard are ideal for both relaxing and engaging in physical activity. In the villa, there is enough to do when the weather is terrible! Although the villa is situated in a quiet neighborhood with adequate privacy, there are many stunning locations nearby. There was always something to do and see during our entire stay here. The host was a wonderful person who met all of our needs. Perfect communication was with the host!

It was a great location but we expected a bit more from the resort. Food could have been way better and the staff didn't really bother giving us tips for things to do in the area. Also, the showers didn't work all the time. I think the spot is amazing and everyone is trying but it could have been better overall. We did enjoy being remote and spending time with friends.

Wer Urlaub am einsamen malerischen Strand sucht ist hier genau richtig

Das Haus liegt wunderschön in einem kleinen mit Palmen bepflanzten Strandabschnitt. Den Strand hat man praktisch für sich alleine. Die anderen beiden Häuser waren bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht vergeben, daher waren wir wirklich komplett für uns alleine. Der Strand ist malerisch schön und eignet sich perfekt für Familien mit auch kleineren Kindern. Das Meer fällt flach ab und bei Ebbe ist der Strand wirklich schön tief. Aufgrund der Lage zwischen Bali und Java gibt es keine starken Wellen oder Strömungen. Der Pool ist angenehm warm (zumindest bei unserem Aufenthalt im Oktober) zum teil schon eher etwas zu warm, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Es gibt einen kleinen Verbindungsweg zwischen den drei Häusern, es ist also nicht ausgeschlossen das sich auch mal ein Nachbar auf den eigenen Abschnitt verirren kann. Alle Betten haben Fliegennetze. Für 250.000 IDR konnte man sich eine traditionelle Massage ins Haus buchen. Wir hatten ein eigenes Auto was bei der abgelegen Lage dringend zu empfehlen ist (oder ein Roller). Direkt neben der Unterkunft liegt eine Perlen-Farm. Wir haben freundlich nachgefragt und durften diese ganz unkompliziert kurz besuchen (super tolle Erfahrung - geruchsempfindlich darf man allerdings nicht sein). Das enthaltene Frühstück war wirklich lecker.

Leider ist das Haus an sich schon extrem in die Jahre gekommen. Vom Zustand des Hauses waren wir wirklich sehr enttäuscht (haben uns sogar überlegt wieder abzureisen). Es gibt in jedem Haus 3 Räume, wenn man nur zwei gebucht hat ist der dritte Raum mit Meerblick verschlossen und nur der innenliegende Raum geöffnet (eventuell kann diese auf Anfrage geändert werden, wir hatten nicht gefragt). Die gesamte Einrichtung ist wirklich sehr abgewohnt (Küche, Bad, Fliesen, Terrassenplatten usw.) Lediglich die Sitzgelegenheit schienen neuer zu sein. Die Küchenausstattung ist auf das Minimum begrenzt (es gibt sehr wenig Gläser/Tassen/Teller) es gibt keinen Mixer, wenig Töpfe und Pfannen. Man kann sich Mittag- und Abendessen kochen lassen (Preis war so um die 140.000 IDR pro Speise, was wir als zu hoch empfunden haben und den daher nicht in Anspruch nahmen). Leider enthält der Pool wohl sehr viel Chemie, nach dem Schwimmen stinkt die Haut extrem, allergische Probleme hatten wir aber keine. Die Unterkunft bietet keinen Service für Ausflüge oder Touren an. Leider war der Strand bei unserer Ankunft extrem dreckig mit Müll. Dieser wurde dann an Tag zwei etwas beseitigt, aber auch nur im Bereich unseres Abschnittes, der Bereich der ungebuchten Abschnitte blieb vermüllt. Das ist wirklich sehr schade, denn die Unterkunft lebt vom tollen Strand vor der Haustür, hier sollte deutlich mehr gesäubert werden. Es gibt Hunde die wohl zur Anlage gehören die auch gerne mal ins Haus kamen, diese haben uns nicht gestört, sollte aber an dieser Stelle kurz erwähnt sein.

Nous venons de passer 13 nuits inoubliables à la villa Melaya Estate by LifestyleRetreats, et nous ne pouvons que la recommander chaleureusement ! Cette villa en bord de plage est tout simplement fantastique. Elle offre un cadre idyllique avec une piscine privée où nous avons pu nous détendre tout en profitant de la beauté de Bali. Un immense merci à Léon, notre hôte extraordinaire, qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus mémorable. Il a été aux petits soins pour nous, répondant à chacune de nos demandes avec un sourire et une disponibilité sans faille. Sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme ont vraiment fait la différence. Chaque jour, il était là pour s’assurer que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Léon nous a également recommandé des activités incroyables qui ont enrichi notre expérience. Nous avons fait du vélo à travers la nature, découvrant des paysages époustouflants dans un parc magnifique. Nous avons visité des cascades éblouissantes et exploré des rizières verdoyantes, ce qui nous a permis d’apprécier la splendeur naturelle de Bali. Sans oublier les délicieux restaurants de poisson frais qu’il nous a conseillés, où nous avons savouré des plats locaux succulents ! En plus de cela, nous avons eu la chance de profiter de séances de massage à domicile, d’une heure à seulement 13 € (250 000 IDR) par personne. Les deux thérapeutes étaient extrêmement dévoués, efficaces et professionnels, rendant nos moments de détente encore plus agréables. Nous avons même versé une petite larme au moment de notre départ, tant nous avons apprécié son accueil chaleureux et son dévouement. Si vous cherchez une escapade de rêve à Bali, ne cherchez pas plus loin ! La villa Melaya Estate et Léon feront de votre séjour une expérience inoubliable. Nous avons hâte de revenir !

Cependant, nous avons été un peu déçus par la propreté de la plage située à quelques pas de la villa, qui aurait pu être mieux entretenue. De plus, l’accès depuis la route est un peu caché, ce qui rend l’arrivée à la villa par la voiture moins pratique. Malgré ces petits désagréments, nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour.

Werkelijk prachtige plek : aan het strand, mooie tuin en heerlijk huis met zwembad. Na een treinreis van 12 uur een tractatie. We hadden per ongeluk dubbel geboekt, maar dat is naar volle tevredenheid opgelost. Compliment!
