Holiday Club Puerto Calma

We usually go to Anfi and this place. This place is superb. Beers are 3 euros, happy hour is 2 hours. BBQ night and the Tapas nights were 18 euros, great value. The pool is a great size, rooms that sleep 6 are a great size (inc hairdryers), view from balcony is superb. Across the road you have an Irish bar, a great supermarket with fresh bakery each day, and a lot of superb restaurants. You can walk to the marina in 10 minutes approx or the town centre in 20 minutes. Restaurant staff were very friendly and good fun. Been here twice now with the kids, they love the cats and the lizards! Free ping pong, pool table is 1 euro, good amount of sun beds. The change facility on day of check out was the gym showers which was actually empty and fine and roomy.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

I liked the cleanliness of the apartment, the pool and its surroundings, plenty of sun loungers by the pool.

I didn't like the location of the apartment and the view at all. According to the description, it was supposed to be an apartment with a view of the mountains and the city. But I was looking at a not very well-kept small garden, a road, some hill behind the road, apartments on the opposite slope and a small piece of the sea. I didn't feel comfortable on the otherwise spacious balcony. Cars driving a few meters from the windows didn't help either.
