Breakfast was good. Lots of variety. Dinner was well done. Onsen was great. Location was close enough to airport for the drive the next day not to be stressful.
The price was very high, the coffee was awful.

The place is absolutely beautiful with a lake view. Food was very goods. The onsen space was also very nice right in front of the water.
In the evening we had dinner in a restaurant in the lower floor with all closed windows although we were expecting to have the lake view. Additionally for the kind of hotel the breakfast had terrible coffee (which is very rare in Japan even at the convenience stores). We expected more care in some of those aspects.

The location is ideal. Next to a lovely lake.
The onsen was rustic and natural.
But disappointed with the room. Very basic. And the deco was dated.
