Casa Vacanza Chiara

We had an amazing stay at Casa Vacanza Chiara! The accommodations were spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The huge balcony was definitely a highlight, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, the sea, and the old town. The location was perfect — just a short 10-minute walk to both the town and the beach, making it incredibly convenient. A wonderful place to stay in Tropea, and we would highly recommend it!

The apartment is located in a quiet area outside the city centre. It offers a partial sea view, although a building directly in front limits most of it. A designated parking space is included, making parking convenient and hassle‑free.

Make sure to read the small print when booking, as you get exactly what is stated—no more, no less. For example, there was no Wi‑Fi, no toiletries, no coffee, no sugar—essentially nothing beyond what was explicitly listed. While these items were not mentioned, we had assumed they were provided by default, which was not the case. The same applies to the check‑out time: it is stated as 09:30 and is almost non‑negotiable. We were allowed a later check‑out at 11:00, but only after paying a €10 fee. Check‑in is also quite late, at 17:00. As for the apartment itself, it was generally fine: two bedrooms, basic furniture, and one dining room/kitchen. However, note that there is only one air conditioner, located in just one of the rooms, so it may be uncomfortable during the summer months. The host could also have been more helpful by providing recommendations for sights, restaurants, or local activities.
