Mila Rest Garden

This has been my Sri Lankan highlights, the room is super comfortable and the location is perfect, walking distance to everywhere beach and all restaurants. However the best part is the host and people working here. Taman is the most gentle and honest person, he helped me in any way he could and showed me a little slice of Sri Lankan culture which is going to be the memory of this trip. Give yourself a favour and book a stay here, and if you are lucky enough you will meet the best people❤️. It was really sad to leave, I wish I could stay longer.

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. They gave great tips for restaurants, laundry, and sightseeing. The property is just a short walk to the beach, supermarket, and city center. My room had air conditioning, and there was a shared kitchen and fridge which made the stay very convenient.

Everything was fine overall, but it would be even better if toilet paper and soap were provided in the bathroom, or at least some tissues in the room.

Calm place. You can hear the waves splashing at shore.

Though beds are provided with mosquito nets, you might get one or two mosquito bites.

Bed is small and uncomfortable for pleasure time for a couple . ( I am 5 ft 9 and my feet was out side of the bed ) Mosquito is a problem and if you close the window the room becomes air tight which may feel weird.
