Amata Borobudur Resort

We spent two night at Amata and were very impressed with absolutely everything at this resort. The staff were warm, professional and incredibly attentive, and for a smaller hotel, the facilities were excellent. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to one of the poolside bungalows and housekeeping kept our room beautifully clean and tidy, while the gardens and pool area were always immaculate and clearly very well cared for. It was the little touches that really stood out — hot and cold towels before meals, beautiful batik curtains in our cottage, and complimentary bottled water, local coffee filtered coffee in the bungalow and a strong hot shower. We also arranged several motorbikes through the hotel, which couldn’t have been easier. Communication was excellent, with the staff always responsive and happy to help with our plans. In addition, the food in the restaurant was superb, thank you chef! The staff in the restaurant we very professional and attentive. Must also add that we loved the bottle coolers for the beer and wine. Overall, we felt this hotel offered exceptional value for money. A lovely, well-run property with genuine hospitality and attention to detail. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we return to the area. Thank you

Absolutely nothing, just wished we could have staying longer.

Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the gorgeous entrance and lobby to the incredible hospitality of the hotel staff. The food was exceptional and such good value for money and we loved spending time around the stunning pool area after sightseeing in the local area. The main reason for our stay was the incredible sunrise tour to Borobudur which was an absolute highlight but staying at Amata exceeded all our expectations; it was difficult to leave after 2 days. We had a delux twin room in the modern new block overlooking the pool and the room was huge with a big bathroom - with both bath and shower areas - and plenty of complimentary toiletries. The only slight niggles were the hard mattresses and a noisy fridge but they couldn’t detract from a fantastic experience in such a lovely hotel and surrounding area. Views from our huge terrace at the back were also amazing - tropical palms, flowers, crops and mountain views with lots of wildlife spotted too. All in all I would highly recommend Amata - stay here instead of staying in Yogya and doing a day trip to Borobudur and you won’t be disappointed.

Nothing - the whole experience was delightful

Pohodlný hotel blízko Borobudur chrámu, velmi dobrá atmosféra, skvělá restaurace. Výrorné a la carte snídaně. Bazén dost velký na plavání, k dipozici lehátka. Jen jsem podcenila vzdálenost of Yogyakarty (nádraží, letiště, je to hodina a půl autem). Hotel jsem ráda využila na odpočinkový den v rámci náročné cesty.
