Amata Borobudur Resort

Pohodlný hotel blízko Borobudur chrámu, velmi dobrá atmosféra, skvělá restaurace. Výrorné a la carte snídaně. Bazén dost velký na plavání, k dipozici lehátka. Jen jsem podcenila vzdálenost of Yogyakarty (nádraží, letiště, je to hodina a půl autem). Hotel jsem ráda využila na odpočinkový den v rámci náročné cesty.

What a gem! The service was outstanding, with a well-trained staff and lovely facilities for a small hotel. We especially loved the attention to detail — from the hot/cold towels before meals and fresh flowers on the tables to the batik curtains in the cottage and complimentary bottled water replenished daily. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean and tidy, and the grounds and pool were clearly very well maintained. We also arranged several tours through the hotel, and the process was incredibly easy thanks to the staff’s excellent communication and responsiveness. This place was such a great value, and we would absolutely return if we have the chance.

While the wooden cottages were very charming, they sometimes allowed road noise and music to be heard. Keeping the AC fan on helped dampen the sound, but if you’re sensitive to noise, a room in the main building might be a better option.
