La Bergerie

The host was nice. The view from our porch was nice. The room was basic but clean enough.

Our room was next to the pool. A little noisy. There glass door was shaded only by a thin curtain. Too much light entered the room in the morning. The hosts didn't speak any English

Lieu très calme, très bien pour se reposer. Les gérants sont très sympathiques, la localisation est idéale pour se balader. Zone piscine top avec tout l'équipement nécessaire.

Très bel hôtel, dans un cadre superbe La propriétaire est très accueillante, on s'est sentis tout de suite à l'aise La piscine est grande et c'est très agréable car il a fait très chaud pendant notre séjour La chambre est équipée d'une clim, et dune bonne literie Le petit dej est simple mais satisfaisant pour tous les goûts et la terrasse est super agréable le matin

The location is excellent with views over olive groves and distant hills, and nearby Joucas is a gem. There is a lovely pool. But...

The strange thing is that this must have been quite a grand 3 star hotel, but now it is largely empty. Only 4 out of 25 or so rooms were occupied and the quality of the rooms and the breakfast would barely merit 1 star (think hostel rather than hotel). So enjoy it for the setting as we did but don’t expect luxury. Don’t put the address on booking.com into your satnav. It takes you to Gordes. Simply head for Joucas instead. The hotel is just by the village.
