Holiday Home Pech Gaillard by Interhome

Maison rustique, bien équipée avec superbe piscine. Lieu très calme, l'idéal si c'est ce que l'on recherche. A proximité des commerces mais nécessité d'avoir un véhicule. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et sympathiques. Nous reviendrons certainement.

La chaleur dans les chambres mansardées du haut. L'installation d'une climatisation dans le couloir du haut serait judicieux, il faisait plus de 40 degrés fin juin et les chambres étaient étouffantes même avec les volets fermés toute la journée et les ventilateurs. Par contre la pièce du bas reste assez fraiche si on ferme également les volets.

Spacious and clean. Very private and everything is well catered for. The owners are very friendly and warm.

Nothing, this was our third stay over the last 10 years!

The pool area was fantastic!! Very secluded and quiet....exactly what we wanted. The house was very well equipped. The washing machine was useful.

There was no reception on the TV whatsoever. It does state on the property description that there is a fully functioning TV. This wouldn't have been an issue if the weather was good, but on the odd day that it rained, my 12 year old would have made use of the TV. There was no welcome pack in any language of any description. We had no idea how to dispose of household waste and recycling. We didn't know where the nearest supermarket, pharmacy, medical centre etc were. There was no information about local attractions. All of this would have made things a little easier given how remote the property is. The directions given to locate the property in Pech Gaillard aren't sufficient. It took us several attempts to find it. The only sign post on the side of the road that would suggest that there is a holiday home down a gravel track is GITE RURAL. Very confusing.
