Hotel Borklad

Our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast with a gorgeous view of the city! The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. I also can’t forget to mention how comfortable the bed was. Located just up the street from the city center, Hotel Borklad made it very easy to get around and explore the city. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel!

The location overlooking the UNESCO Heritage site and the design of some of the rooms as we had 4 rooms. 1 was exceptionally beautiful, one was really well designed, one was mediocre and one felt like a basement prison. There was breakfast provided but it had very limited options and quantities with the orange juice tasting artificial but a really nice jam. Shout out to Angelo from the breakfast team he was one of the kindest most hospitable people I’ve ever met on my 24 countries travel journey

The staff was no staff. They had some people come in to prepare breakfast in the morning and someone checked us in and there was two lovely ladies who cleaned the stairs and the roof with soap and water but other than that it was completely empty if you needed assistance with anything including the reception. The door even locks with a code because there’s no one on the property except guests. No parking which doesn’t seem like a big problem except parking is an issue in the whole city. There’s only one public parking and rates can add up pretty quickly.

Location was awesome, directly in the old town. Personnel was very friendly. Highlight was the nice rooftop terrace.

Centrally located boutique hotel in heart of old city. AC was working properly ( very rate in Albania), rooms clean and cozy. Breakfast was good. staff was very supportive . Very close to castle and restaurants

Had to walk 800 m to find a parking spot
