Cosy with a beautiful location. Went at the perfect time of year where it was quiet.

Location was beautiful. Fire was the highlight.

Bed was quite small and my partner found it hard to get in and out of rooms as he is tall. I wish we were warned of the work taking place on site as it disturbed us the next morning.

The view. More comfortable than expected. Good facilities inside pod. Good direct access to village.

Noise from children in other pods was unexpected. Rules not followed re crossing in front of other pods. Expensive for what it is.

Pod

Just about everything the view the facilities, the hot tub, the location the fire pit area. Putting everything into context it was at the end of the day a pod and could not have been fitted out any better. Unlike other places where we have had a wood-fired hot tub this also had jets and there was no problem getting more wood at no charge and the ladies were most helpful.

We realise that it is a fire risk issue but it would have been nice to have had an electric hob.

If you're looking for a relaxing break with great views, Glenarm Ocean View Pods is where you should go. Couldn't fault here, fab. We had breakfast in the tea rooms on the estate, 10/10 also had a pizza from the pizza pavilion and coffee from the coffee dock all 10/10 Would definitely recommend this. Walked the gardens on the estate, just beautiful. We sat beside the fire in the evening and just totally chilled. Woke early next morning to get the sun rising over the ocean, heaven.

If I was being picky the only slight problem was the bed was just a bit too short. I'm 5ft8 and my feet were over the edge but it would not stop me from staying here again.

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful location and centre for exploring north west Ireland.

The views and close proximity to Glenarm Castle and its shops & cafes.

Some other guests, especially those with young children, were disrespectful of the request not to pass in front of other pods. Kids will be kids but parents need to be parents!

Forest glen

Amazing view, fire pit area and pod itself was great. My daughter enjoyed going to the watch tower with the binoculars and playing with little games as well as making snores before bed.

Due to the hot weather, pod very hot even with both fans going one in main living area and on ein bed room. We kept door open during the day but closed it at night as didn't want bugs coming in, but we still enjoyed our stay

Amazing views! Very clean and beautifully decorated. Lovely staff, very attentive. Loved that we could book a late check out.

We thought the pods were on the grounds of the castle, which they were not. It was a short drive away. Also, we weren't allowed to access the castle (as it's a residence, probably poor research on our part) or even see it (as it's blocked off by trees). Extras like s'mores experience is quite expensive!

Different stay experience for families

We liked the experience of staying in pods , kids thoroughly enjoyed their cozy bunk beds and different architecture of the room. Camp fire place next to pod were great. Little cramped for adults but can be managed given experience we were trying to get

Families have to plan for food and necessary items as there are not many stores near by. Pod is just above graveyard distracting kids attention.

Fantastic visit!

We absolutely loved our stay! All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The pod had a beautiful location overlooking the sea, we loved watching the sunrise in the mornings. The fire pits were great too, it was fun roasting marshmallows and enjoying the view. I would recommend visiting and we'll definitely be back!

A slice of paradise by the sea

We stayed at the Glenarm Ocean View Pod for our anniversary, and it was the perfect place to celebrate. The peaceful atmosphere, stunning ocean views, and cozy setup made our stay truly special. It was a wonderful getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

The position and the thoughtful way of the structure and how the pods are displaced. The check in was very easy, the pre-stay communication very detailed and everything was just perfect. We’ll definitely come back!!

Superb

Great location with a stunning view over the Glenarm marina! The space felt surprisingly roomy and cosy. It felt private despite the glass front. The walled garden at Glenarm Castle was beautiful and the pizza pavilion is well worth a visit for a nice bite.

The ventilators made a whirring sound which was a bit annoying for getting to sleep. We were excited to see the night sky but there was a constant floodlight on outside our pod so that was disappointing. The instructions for the hot tub weren’t accurate which meant we weren’t able to use it.

Very comfortable, clean, well thought out space. Everything provided for, nice touches including tea, coffee, milk etc and eye masks for sleeping in. Appreciated the beautiful views. Good to have wifi as well.

Was surprised at that price point to be asked to wash up glasses etc before leaving, although we did. This system assumes everyone cleans to a high standard- how do you know the previous guest hasn’t just wiped the cups or glasses rather than washed them properly? Was a bit tricky washing up in the tiny basin in the sink.

It was my second visit here the evening time is cold outside even though it’s summer there is no shelter outside and the fire pit is the only source to keep warm and the fact it’s there and firewood isn’t included is a shame outdoor wall heaters or cosy blankets would be a great addition

Amazing mini break

We loved our stay at the pods. Instructions were easy to follow on arrival and departure. Any concern we had was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. The host was friendly. Facilities were fantastic and amazing location. We can't wait to go back.

Location was fantastic though the views from our particular pod (4) wasn’t as good as other sites. Glenarm castle gardens included in cost was a great addition.

It should have been more immediately obvious that if you didn’t add on bbq or bring your own you had no capacity to cook. You had to read a good bit in the description before realising bbq didn’t come standard. We missed that and had to go buy one as we hadn’t pre booked. Same for the fire wood. Other glamping sites have these as part of the package price. Finally, if booking.com had not sent us the codes we would not have gotten in as the site didn’t send us the instructions email.

Gorgeous, has everything you need. Perfect for a couple or family. It’s lovely and quiet in the area and the pods are cosy and spacious. Lovely to have the sofa turn into the bed. Means there is more room in the pod and the bed just folds down when you need it. The view is stunning! Highly recommend!

We didn’t put on eye masks so was awoken by a beautiful sunrise. But I would recommend wearing those to get a good nights sleep or bring your own eye mask. The pods were warm being July but the fan really helped.

It’s clean & has plates, spoon, knives as well.

I woke up with a SUNBURN. There should be a curtain at least to block the sun as you sleep in cuz even tents when you’re camping, you can zip it to block the sun. And it was so warm in the room. Although they provided a small fan, it’s not doing its job. And they only provided 2 pillows (1 for each person) For 250€ a night, they couldve provided ‘extra’ 2 pillows as we didn’t have children in booking.

Modern 'camping' done right.

Really enjoyed my 1-night stay in the pod. It was far more comfortable and well equipped than I expected, superb views too. It was easy to collect the key, the instructions were perfect. I'd definitely return.
