Il Cortile delle Esperidi

The property was in a perfect location, beautifully clean and spacious. We had a lovely view out of the window. Claudia was absolutely wonderful – she helped us organise various things like leaving our luggage, ordering taxis and was very prompt to reply to any question or communication. She was very kind, attentive and thorough regarding everything she did during our stay.

The only suggestion would be that the kitchen was better equipped, it was clean and pleasant, but we could have done with a chopping board, tin opener, and one or two other utensils like a sharp kitchen knife.

Very spacious and comfortable 1 bedroom, two level apartment. The facility has 3 apartments and 3 rooms, we were told. Modern, lovely and only 3 short blocks to the Porta for the Old Town.

All was great!

Very spacious apartment in a great location. Only about 3min walk to the Porta San Biagio gate to the old town. On-street or king very easy to find, easy to pay and super-safe.

Nothing to complain about

The location.

Disappointing experience – rigid rules over guest comfort While the apartment itself is located in a nice area, our stay was soured by an excessively rigid and unwelcoming policy regarding the air conditioning. The property uses an energy-saver card slot tied directly to the room keys, meaning the AC shuts off completely the moment you take your keys and leave. Because the apartment gets extremely hot and takes a long time to cool down upon returning, this setup makes for a very uncomfortable stay in the summer heat. When we tried to manage the temperature, the host immediately tracked it through their system and threatened an arbitrary €30 fee, citing environmental concerns. It quickly became clear that the host cared far more about saving a small amount of money on electricity than they did about customer convenience, comfort, or basic hospitality. Between the stifling room temperatures upon return and the hostile communication over utility usage, we would not stay here again.
