The worst stay of my life

The worst accommodation we've ever stayed in. It was very dirty, we asked them to come and clean the apartment and they never showed up. The sheets were stained and they refused to give us new ones. The bathrooms had soaked floors. The apartment had cockroaches. We asked reception for help and alternatives several times and the problem was never solved.

Chilled and beautiful area and the staff were brilliant

It had everything we needed.

Needed a lot more towel for our stay and a note to bring our own towels would’ve been good too. Iron wasn’t the best either.

Do not book!

I can cope with old fashioned but this pure out of date apartments need cleaning. The smell in the apartment combined with ants everywhere and broken aircon was too much. Fortunately it was only 5 nights, we asked to be moved, they said no. Would never recommend.

Very disappointing

There was only air conditioning in the bedrooms, the units didn’t work in 1 bedroom and was so loud in the other bedroom you couldn’t use it. Complained in the office but they weren’t interested and effectively said you have to live with it.

annoying the keys were at a different location to the apartments. But it wasn’t far away

We got locked out of the apartment as the lock broke after a drink at a few bars in the early hours of the morning. And there wa a no 24 hour security number therefore was stranded outside till 9am the following day.

How far away it was to collect keys, it was not easy as taxi company’s did not speak any English and did not seem to know any addresses well around the area

Nice location but terrible cold apt.

The location was OK for me; easy to reach by public transport; 20 min. walk to the beach-restaurant and the (nude) beach. And the cosy harbour of Cabopino with its restaurants 30 min.

However, as the apt. has no heating at all it was bloody cold (12°C) during the day in the room, kitchen, bathroom..... And in the night 10°C. OK, January is wintertime but this was horrible. As the apt. has only single-glass windows, no isolation at all so wind could freely "come and go". Only in the bedroom has airco/heating: very usefull as now it could heat that room to 19°C. So when I was "home" I "locked myself up" in the bedroom with the airco on "full swing". Of course I had informed the reception the first day of my stay and they tried to solve the problem by supporting (twice) a portable electric heating. But these didn't work because of (repeatedly) failure at the switch-panel: 2000 W was to much?! I'm 100% convinced that renting these apts. is only for (late) spring summer and (early) autumn. (I myself did this before 3 times and no complains at all !) Over all, I was very disappointed that (despite the reception mentioned that they would inform the management), the only apologize I got was "sorry for the inconvenience"....

The view on the ocean from the terrace is nice. And the flat is closed to the main road to commute to the airport.

Check in is at another hotel down the road, which I didn't realise so that made things a bit slower getting there and sorted but easy once we figured out where to go. They did tell us, but I didn't see the message with that info in.
