Nostromondo Ciancaleoni Palace

Very close to Cavour Station and Sapienza University. Had a wonderful staff. Staff person Ines was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She showed me the whole place and how everything worked. I even had a medical problem and needed some help navigating the Italian healthcare system, and she spent a while making phone calls for me.

The stairs nearby but that's an unavoidable part of the neighborhood.

I thought it was a great place, no negative thoughts about it

The property is in good location with easy access to everywhere. It was very thoughtful that the property management warned us about the Roman Marathon event blocking certain areas.

It was confusing which room we were getting during booking as the pictures showed several rooms with no marking which is which. We are an older couple. We prefer bedroom and bathroom at the same level. Unfortunately with Rome, you have to book as fast as you can. A question was asked after booking was not answered for weeks. The room we got was generally fine but when you stayed for 6 nights the little things which were not being paid attention to were felt as inconveniences. For example, the microwave was not rotating and lack of paper towel.

Great location and close to everything

Unfortunately, it’s a loft and although I’ve been staying many summers there, it has not changed or been upgraded in years. Nowhere on any booking sites does it say the bathroom is downstairs and the stairs down are small and without a railing on the last 8. The rooftop is rarely cleaned and the cushions for outdoor patio are dirty. It could be absolutely lovely if only a few things were cleaned and upgraded
