The location is near to the centre of Lecce, down a side street. There is a space for parking, but we did not use a car, and there are time restrictions that do not allow cars to be driven in the city at certain times of the day. The accommodation is huge - it is in a characterful stone building, with vaulted ceilings - the place oozes charm. Its clean. Its well maintained. There is a kitchen, and small outdoor area. There is coffee and an espresso maker provided. Also water, yogurt, and pastries for breakfast. There is a large lounge/dining area that has a TV. The whole accommodation is well equipped for a short stay. Shower was excellent. The owner communicated well and helped us greatly with our logistics in getting to the venue. He was a brilliant guy, and clearly was proud of the accommodation, and wanted to ensure guests enjoyed their stay. This is the longest and most detailed review I have ever given a place that I have stayed at via Booking.com - this was because it was the best venue I have ever stayed at via Booking.com !
You are near to a church and to the noise of a city - do not expect silence - if you are a light sleeper, then use earplugs (I always do unless I am in a rural location). If you want to stay in a city, then these noises are to be expected. For us, it was not a problem at all.
