Casa per Ferie Beato Rosaz

The place was super nice. I had a twin sized room, was definitely small however this was all I needed. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was good. They came in and tidied the room every day which was nice. Towels and linen are provided. The owner/manager there was super lovely and let us check in early. Had an elevator and a vending machine with drinks which was great. Was a bit far from the city area however there was tons of transport options within a 2-5 min walk. Air con was also good. Had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

The only negative was it was about a 25 min bus to say the colosseum, which turns into about a 45 min journey from walking, waiting, riding and walking. However we knew this when booking so not the end of the world.

Nice place to stay: clean, quiet, secure, in a residential neighborhood which has its different rhythms than the centro storico (and actually, was a little cooler). It's about 20 mins into central Rome, which sounds far, but really isn't, as locals attest. The two public transport options in (Bus 8 to Piazza Venezia or Bus H to Termini) are super close and there's a nice open-air bar where locals gather (while children play) right near the stop, so after a day in the city itself, you can stop for an aperitivo before heading back to the convent. I would book again.
