Stunning KASUNI Beach Apartments in Split

The location is within walking distance to 2 beaches. Kansjuni beach has a beach bar, but the water quality wasn't that good. We walked a little further around to a tiny cove which was beautiful. There's very expensive sunbeds to hire (the 4 poster type of sunbeds are €120 per day! ) Most people lie on their towels. Don't be put off whilst driving into Split and the built up area, this apartment is on the outskirts and in a quiet, leafy street. It also provides private underground spacious parking. Apartment is very spacious and clean. Coffee machine, so take your own ground coffee. Washing machine, so take your own powder Contact with the host was fine and we were met on our arrival by Deni. We would definitely return.

It was all great actually. But better pillows and more towels would be good. Provide kitchen roll too, but that's just small things.

The location is superior. Two most beautiful beaches in Spilt are in a walking distance (Obojena beach 5 min and Kasjuni beach 15 min) so you can avoid the hassle with finding a parking spot for your car. Split old town is within 30 min walking distance. There's also a bus stop (nr 12) in front of the apartment building to take you to the town's center or Kasjuni beach. Easy access from Split airport by taxi.

BE AWARE that the pictures of the apartment presented on the Booking site do not match the actual situation! This is not the apartment you will actually have. It was initially a bit of disappointing as the photos have been taken from the way larger and luxurious apartment (160 m2 vs ca 50-60 m2 in reality). The actual one is on the 1st floor but the photos give an impression that the apartment is on the higher floor with a better view. In addition, 1/3 of the electric curtains covering the main large windows of the apartment's living room didn't work (were fully closed), leaving the kitchen a quite dark and grim. Maybe it was our misfortune, but despite our kind request, it wasn't fixed in a week. Moreover, our feeling was that there are some legal violations in renting out that apartment - the owner of the building arrived from Germany during our stay and he wasn't happy to realise that the apartment he has rented out for a long term stay, was used in short rentals. I cannot confirm that, it's just an allegation. However, the persons who are advertising that apt in Booking disappeared (I couldn't have any contact with them) after the german owner appeared to the site. So we just left the keys on the table and left. Quite weird. So be aware of these circumstances and confirm all these issues before you make a reservation and payment.

Nothing! Totally to avoid! Big SCAM!

Everything! Totally to avoid! Big SCAM! The agency who advertised the apartment didn't answer for 30 minutes to our calles, more than this rejected our calls. Also didn't answer to messages through booking where asking for pick up instructions of the keys. We get there at 5 PM, waited 30 minutes till they finally answered and they said we still wait 30 more minutes to show us the apartment. Finally the owner of the appartment came, who showed us a different appartment than the one we booked. We was actually saying that the photos where from 2 appartments, but this was not true because the advirtised photos was from only one appartment. We couldn't find any resemblence in the appartment he showed us with the advertised photos. More than this the room was "cleaned" in a very big hurry but when we inspected it and the living was full of sand and small rocks from the beach, the bed was not made, it was full of hair in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Gum in the toilet. The furniture on the balcony was broken and damaged, having missing pieces. In this whole period the owner was trying to convince us is not so dirty. We told the owner that we will not stay and asked for refund. He said yes, no problem, but till this moment neither the owner of the appartment or the agency didn't confirm to booking the confrmation for refund. The lady from the agency which was not helpfull at all, was blaimimg the owner, the owner was as described above, and booking.com is blaiming everybody in order not to solve the issue, as they will not refund the money as the agency who advertised the appartment is not confirming the full refund to booking.com After 2 weeks and a lot of calls, booking.com said they possibly will refund us 15% of the booking, which means booking.com.. Overall big SCAM with this booking, so our recommendation is don't ever try to book an accomodation that has less than 50 reviews.
