Our family stayed at Heaven’s Gate for July 1st through 5th, 2024. Our stay started out good until we went to get on the internet, some of us had to get work done and the child would be occupied. We had no internet connection. The network name was not listed when searched, we reset the router and still the network name did not appear. Also tried to access the listed networks. We alerted Vacasa at 8:46 P.M. and by 9:41 P.M. they stated they would alert the local team. On July 2nd, after returning from a day out, still no internet. Contacted Vacasa again at 6:43 P.M., we were told a technician was scheduled but no time frame was given. We left the home early on July 3rd and did not return until after 6:00 P.M., still no internet, sent text message again to Vacasa at 7:28 P.M., apparently the technician did not show up for work that day. The text received at 8:08 P.M. request we wait for him to work on it. We stayed at the house on July 4th, 2024, and did not leave, no one came to work on the internet. Our stay ended the morning of July 5th, 2024. This whole incident regarding the internet was very frustrating as some of the group had to work while there could not. Extremely poor cell service, we tried to use our phones as hotspots, which did not work. It appeared the home had not been used in a while, there were spider webs all over the home on the floor by the kitchen counter and at the chandelier. You should have an electrician look at the light switch along the stair wall before the kitchen, it gets extremely warm. We did blow a fuse while using the laundry facilities, and the dryer would not turn on. We hung the items on the deck to dry. The grounds were so overgrown with weeds, using the grill where it is located, was impossible without moving it to the deck. We’ve stayed at many homes, lofts, apartments around the county, this is the first time, I want to leave a bad review.
