About this castle / palace rental

Ideal for families or couples. Completely independent accommodation in the south-west wing of a late 15th century Breton castle, enlarged in the 17th and 19th centuries. Recent renovation. Very well equipped accommodation. Suite on the 1st floor: a 160x190 bed, 2nd bedroom: 2 80x200 beds and a baby bed, 3rd bedroom: 3 90x190 beds plus three extra beds possible if needed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
Garden furniture, outside dining area, sun lounger, hammock.
Possibility of fishing in the pond by bringing your equipment.
Hiking trails around.
Lots of charm for lovers of old stone who appreciate the calm of the countryside, charming village of Moncontour at 5 km, beaches at between 15 and 25 km depending on preferences (Hillion, Rosaries at St Brieuc or Le Val André, Erquy ... ), central position allowing radiation throughout Brittany accessible during the day (St Malo, Mont St Michel, Pink Granite Coast, Ile aux Moines, Ouessant ...) Renowned Val-André golf course, in a very beautiful setting above the sea.
Attention unsecured body of water and unfenced land.
A connection is provided in the main room. 4G accessible via the main operators (we use Bouygues and the network is going very well). Refrain if you are looking for hyperconnected accommodation: the thick walls do not facilitate the deployment of Wi-Fi.

We stayed in the chateau for four days and had a wonderful time. We received a warm welcome from the hostess and her husband, including a tour of the whole chateau. It is like a dream, in a beautiful, very quiet park with a lake. Lots of birds. Small but very adequate kitchen. Enormous bedroom, with a splendid view on the edge of the woods.
We walked and cycled a lot, which was great.
If you like peace and quiet, warm hospitality and a sens of history, you will love this place!

Nous avons passé une semaine extrêmement agréable au château de La Ville Chaperon. L'aile mise à disposition est pleine de charme, dotée de tout le confort nécessaire (notamment pour un séjour avec des enfants) et le site idéal pour un temps de repos au calme et au contact de la nature. L'accueil est sympathique et convivial tout en restant discret, assurant l'indépendance des résidents tout au long de leur séjour. La possibilité de profiter du parc (soit depuis le salon de jardin privé soit au travers de promenades) contribue au caractère attrayant des lieux.
