As payment wasn't thru booking.com there was a problem getting paid in time to have access on first night. No reception at this apartment block - had to walk in the dark and rain to another venue. Lovely lady to help, but basically v stressful.

Nice stay all round and pretty good value for money

Well located and has everything that you need. Surprisingly quiet given the location; the room was at the back of the building so perhaps better than the front side. The snacks provided are also a nice touch, handy for while you’re getting settled. The staff I spoke to were also very helpful and polite which makes a massive difference.

Noticeably draughty from the windows and the blinds don’t do enough for keeping in heat or blocking light. The bed could be more comfortable and was quite creaky. Otherwise, minor bits that would improve - check out time is pretty early compared to other places. The TV was also quite glitchy and buffered a lot.

Great location, would stay again but not in the height of summer

Great location, good sized property, access instructions were very clear

Property was advertised as having aircon, this is why we picked it - we visited in the middle of the heatwave, no AC on so the flat was around 35 degrees when we first arrived. The AC limited the lowest temperature available (19) but the flat never actually reached this point. The lowest it managed to get down to was 23 and that was overnight, not ideal for when you’re trying to work from there during the day

Subject: Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience – Strong Complaint I am writing to express my deep frustration and utter disappointment regarding my recent stay at your apartment. The experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to list the unacceptable issues we faced: 1. The bedroom was a complete disaster. The listing clearly stated a queen bed, yet we found two unstable single beds with a gap in between, which caused us physical pain and discomfort. The beds were not fixed in place and kept moving – totally unacceptable for any standard of accommodation. 2. The apartment’s location on the main street turned our stay into a traumatic memory. We could not sleep at all – noise began at 5 AM with delivery trucks and market chaos, and continued until 2 AM with drunk people and delivery drivers gathering under the building. The sound insulation was nonexistent. It was absolute hell. 3. There was no place to store our luggage after check-out. This is a basic service in most accommodations and the absence of it caused us great inconvenience. 4. We lost an entire day of rest due to a complete violation of our privacy. We were shocked and horrified when someone rang the bell twice, then knocked aggressively while we were sleeping, and moments later, the door was opened without permission by electricians. If it weren’t for the security chain, they would have walked right in. This is outrageous and completely disrespectful. We had absolutely no prior notice about this intrusion. 5. The extreme heat turned the apartment into a torture chamber. The place was unbearably hot. Instead of investing in proper portable air conditioners, we were given useless fans that did absolutely nothing. This shows a complete disregard for guest comfort and well-being. I swear I will never, ever repeat this experience with your property for the rest of my life. This stay was a total disaster, and I feel deeply wronged by what we went through.

A central studio with some potential

I was travelling for work and needed a quiet and comfortable place to stay, which I found here. The studio was spacious and bright. The kitchenette was fully equipped to prepare a light lunch and all the appliances were working perfectly. The bathroom was clean and roomy.

Cleanliness could be improved a bit. The smell in the studio was very unpleasant, and I had to keep all four windows open for the entire time of my stay. This was not a problem as the weather was very warm during the time I spent here, but in winter it might be a problem. The mattress of the bed was a bit uncomfortable, as I could feel some springs here and there. Perhaps, changing the mattresses with new ones would generally improve the guests' comfort. The rug in the living area of the studio needed a good wash.

Too noisy to get a good nights sleep

It is really convenient for the rail station and it was clean but the one thing I really need is a good night’s sleep and I didn’t get that. There was constant noise from the street but the bigger problem was the clanging of the boiler through the night and the continuous beeping from the hallway. I messaged the property about this but got no response

The location is just in the city centre, close to the main street and easily find when you arrive. The apartment is big and cosy, with full equipment in the kitchen, and the space in the rooms is fine. The staff responded quickly regarding any enquiries and issues.

The mattress in the ensuite room is too soft, which makes some noise to wake you up during sleeping. The boiler will need to take some time to refill, so better not to take a shower at the same time in the two bathrooms.
