About this house rental
Capel Sound cottage is an old but refurbished house, located conveniently to many of the attractions in the area. It has an updated kitchen and an updated bathroom.
Our house is a 5 min walk from the beach, and a 5 - 7 min drive from the hot springs and the shops. Golf courses and wineries are all just a short drive away.
We offer basic but comfortable accommodation. We keep things simple by not supplying quilts, bed linen or towels, so you will need to bring your own. We only supply mattresses and pillows. Please check our reviews to be sure that our home is suitable for you.
BEDDING
- The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed.
- Bedroom two has a bunk bed with a single top bunk and a double bottom bunk.
- Bedroom three has a single top and bottom bunk.
- There is a double fold out sofa bed in the living area, for extra people, however we don't recommend using it other than as a back up.
Our house has exterior cameras at the front of the property. There are no cameras inside the property.

Perfect for our requirements for a couple of nights . Plenty of room. As it is listed is what you get.We would stay here again.

Our stay was very relaxing and easy. We were aware that the place was not new so overall presentation was good neat and tidy. Whoever cleans your place between clients definitely did not clean before we got there.
There was food left in the microwave, some spill spots on the oven, trails of ants in several places in the kitchen area, wee spots on the toilet seat, the tea towels must just get dried off and not washed because they stunk so we left the 2 we used in the laundry. And if you walked in bare feet inside although the floor looks clean my feet were black. They had not been swept. If you have a cleaner come in between clients they definitely had not been and there was dog poo in the driveway. Your council bins had rubbish in it with no bin liners used and absolutely wreaked. Your house offers a lovely vibe and definitely comfortable but if you are paying someone to clean you need to touch base with them again as I’m sure you are paying for the service.
