Quite expensive stay

I liked the location of this hotel in the center of Liestal

Breakfast was kind of poor and when I asked the staff to get something else like scrambled eggs I was told "No way".

Quirky and fun stay for one.

Quirky place to stay. It was comfortable and nice. Nice small breakfast and clean rooms. Nice to have a bath in the room.

The rooms were a bit noisy. Also rooms are not great for more than one, since the toilet and bath is in the same space.

Exceptional

Great little hotel with great pizzas and a fantastic music venue attached. The room was very comfortable and the access to decent coffee, bottled water and snacks was most appreciated. All printed material is on German, but everyone spoke good English and made me feel at home. Very popular place to eat, so make sure you book a table.

Extra charge for second person. U cant bring anyone in your room during the day or night, if he/she isnt a guest of hotel. I mean that second person must be booked with u in that room all the way.

Was on business but would visit on leisure. Beautiful region and I would stay here again.

Had a very pleasant room and was made to feel very welcome. It is a small hotel and nothing is too much trouble for those who work in it. It is very well located within the small town and the area has a vibrant atmosphere. When I left it was pouring with rain and the lady on reception gave a small umbrella and told me I could keep it. Very thoughtful.

Kleines herzliches Hotel.

Das Personal ist nett. Die Hotelbesitzerin ist sehr freundlich. Der Lage ist Perfekt! Nahe zu Bahnhof und Altstadt.

Der WC- Schüssel ist direkt im Zimmer. Nicht geeignet für zwei Personen oder mann kennt sich sehr gut.

Kultig und gastronomisch schönes Erlebnis !

Das kultige Mobiliar und die Gestaltung des gesamten Hotels. Das gute Essen (Abendessen und Frühstück). Pizza lecker, gem. Salat alles frisch zubereitet, schön garniert und eine leichte sehr feine Sauce. Frühstück: Kaffee aus der Maschine, Saft, grosszügige und schön garnierte Platte mit versch. Käse und Fleisch. Frischer Croissant und Brot, selbstgemachte Konfitüre. Kaffee/Tee-Ecke mit Nespresso-Maschine und Wasserkocher. Dazu zur freien Verfügung Snacks.

- Die Zimmer sind sehr ringhörig. - Kaffee-Maschine wurde am Sonntag um 6:00 Uhr vor meinem Zimmer betätigt und ich wurde dadurch geweckt. Eine Lösung in einer Ecke im Restaurant wäre toll. - Mein Zimmer war vorne raus. Ich war erstaunt über den regen Verkehr und zahlreiche Busse, die ca. 10 Meter vor dem Hotel durchfuhren. Evtl. Ohrstöpsel mitbringen. - Die Toilette/Dusche befanden sich in einer Ecke direkt im Zimmer. Dusche im Zimmer und sep. Toilette hätte ich originell gefunden, aber so war es für mich befremdend.

Gut gelegen, ruhig und freundlich.

Sehr gut gelegen - wenige Geh-Minuten zum Bahnhof, nahe Bushaltestelle, Supermarkt, Stadttor und trotzdem ruhig. Sehr freundliches Personal. Velo unterbringen war möglich, schöne Tourenvorschläge vorhanden. Frühstück war ab 7 Uhr verfügbar. Serviert wurde eine reichhaltige Platte mit frischem Brot, Müsli und leckerem Käse, Wurst, Schinken, Marmelade und Croissant. Trotz Lokal im EG und Biergarten vor dem Fenster war es stets ausreichend ruhig. Die angrenzende Bahnlinie ist nicht wahrnehmbar, auch nachts wird der Schlaf nicht gestört. Schnelle und unkomplizierte Unterstützung bekam ich im Nachgang bei der Abrechnung.

Mooi-ässe-dringgä-gniesse. Ihr Aushängeschild. Passt.

Das Linden-Zimmer. Den Namen trägt es wohl, vom kleinen Balkon aus zu sehen, direkt daneben stehend ein mächtiger Lindenbaum, der den Gästen im Innenhof, bei Speis und Trank, bei Sonnenschein Schatten spenden würde. Weiter liegt das Hotel direkt am Bahnhof Liestal, wo nachts Güterzüge vorbei donnern. Bei offenem Fenster gut hörbar. Wem das Geräusch gutgesinnt- den stört es kaum. Das Zimmer selbst: harmonisch in der Farbwahl der Ausstattung, die von Antike auf Moderne trifft. Obergine-violett, lindgrün kombiniert mit warmen Braun der Einrichtungsgegenstände. Das Bett: lang genug für Menschen über 185cm. Kein Anstossen an der Fussleiste. Bequem. Der Schlaf erholsam. Die Dusche/Bad: Hier trifft die Moderne auf die Antike. Ein Eyecatcher dieses Zimmers. Sehr sauber. Erfrischendes Shampoo steht zur Verfügung. Haartrockner Tücher alles vorhanden. Als wäre das nicht schon „mooi“ genug, macht der Schriftzug ässe-dringgä-gniesse, seinen Ruf alle Ehre. Verköstigt wird man tatsächlich vom Feinsten. Ps: mit Holland haben sie nichts am Hut, der Ausdruck beschreibt einfach das Haus am besten. Das Personal herzlich und hilfsbereit. Hier lässt es sich verweilen! Wir sind interessierst, wie die anderen Zimmer eingerichtet sind- und werden bestimmt wiederkehren.

Liestal est une jolie ville, le centre ville est magnifique avec ces peintures sur les maisons

Bon accueil du personnel. Près du centre ville de Liestal. Terrasse bien aménagée et agréable. Restaurant à proximité.

- J'étais seule donc ok pour moi mais pour deux personnes la chambre aurait été un peu petite. -Pas d'ascenseur mais le personnel est bienveillant il vous porte le bagage dans les étages.

Coccolati e in relax a due passi da Basilea!

L’hotel è familiare, fa parte di un ristorante molto carino in stile tipico alpino. La camera Linde non era enorme ma risulta spaziosa anche grazie a un generoso balconcino in cui rilassarsi. Letto super comodo! A disposizione degli ospiti sul pianerottolo c’è un bollitore e una macchina del caffè con tè vari a scelta, acqua, snack e cioccolatini a libera disposizione. La colazione viene servita al tavolo, con un tagliere di salumi e formaggi, marmellata e yogurt. A scelta bevanda calda anche ripetuta se si desidera. Un bellissimo alberghetto! Posizione perfetta a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di Liestal con treni comodi giorni e notte per Basilea e altre destinazioni in Svizzera.
