About this house rental
Enjoy the view! Covered porches with high end patio furniture and an updated downstairs living room with 3 sofas and 2 club chairs. Come for the hiking, waterfalls, shopping and resplendent dining in Highlands! Or, perhaps you just want to cool off while you escape the rat race and relax on the 24' high deck overlooking the mountains of Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee and Northeast Georgia while the sun sets beautifully behind them. This house has recently been completely renovated with new flooring, all new luxury bathrooms and a fresh new kitchen. The bedrooms all have luxury bedding with brand new high end mattresses. Great for two families with both and upstairs and downstairs masters with king beds, and a bunk room with two twins over two queens, a walk in closet and storage dresser. Heated floors in master bath upstairs and double vanities in both full baths. We have brand new high end patio furniture, sofa and club chairs this spring and have added an upstairs TV to the two we already had downstairs with Direct TV.

The kitchen has all new cabinets, granite countertops, and all stainless steel appliances, including two dishwashers. There is a charcoal grill and wood burning fireplace, it is the guests responsibility to provide charcoal and firewood which can be purchased in town. We have Starlink satellite wifi, telephone but service can be spotty based on our location in the mountains but has improved drastically with constant new satelittes being launched!

Had a great time at this beautiful cabin! The views were beautiful! Inside was clean and spacious. There are windy roads to go into town but short drive.

A great property with lots of room. Everything fit our needs for this vacation. Close to town, great living room upstairs for reading by the fireplace during the day. Cozy living room downstairs for relaxing in the evenings. Contrary to other reviews, we had zero problems with texting through iMessage and web browsing. Satellite tv and apps worked very well for us also. The kitchen was perfect. Huge sink, plenty of cook wear and the double dishwashers were a nice touch for group dining. Beautiful view off of the back deck. Very nice firepit area. Beds were comfortable. Showers had enough hot water for four people to get ready back to back. You can't expect much more. Great spot.

It was hard to find and no cell service. My daughter came up alone and ended up on the street behind the property. There is a very steep driveway shared by another house. We were only aloud 2 bags of trash and we had 8 people for 5 days over a holiday, so the local trash dump wasn’t open so we were charged extra. I misread the pet policy and brought both of our mature labs for which we were also charged extra. Be aware there is a ring doorbell camera and the host will watch your every move. Beautiful sunsets from the back porch.
